Saved Todoroki x Reader

Chapter Four

Todoroki's Pov

I Woke up around 9 am my new roommate's first day was on Friday I'm gonna be honest with you I didn't remember her name. Just while I was stretching I heard a small knock and a quiet voice "Umm todoroki are you awake-?" a sudden noise interrupted her, it's was so loud I jumped out of my bed and opened the door. "what's going on?!" my voice sounding concerned.

I kept covering my ears from the loud beeping noise and ran to every room to see what was happening, all of them were fine except the kitchen. I finally noticed the reason that was provoking that loud beeping noise it was the toaster it was on fire.

She came up to me and said "Yeah that's what I wanted to tell you," she was scratching her head "You know how you have a half cold half hot quirk I was just wondering if you could help me make the toaster cool off heh.". I nodded and took off the fire by surrounding the fire with ice and just getting water from the sink and throwing it onto the fire.

"How did you cause this?" I asked her clearly puzzled how this could've happened. I did notice a slight smell of burning in the morning but it wasn't severe so I just ignored it but I wouldn't have thought it was her cooking skills in action.

"So I was gonna make breakfast for you as a thank you gift for helping me pack all of my stuff and when I was getting something from my room I noticed the toast was burning and I kind of panicked so my first instinct was to go to you...I didn't think it would trigger the fire alarm.." By her facial expression, I could see she was truly embarrassed

"Thank you for trying to make me breakfast but you didn't have to I do appreciate the thought though." I wanted to make her feel better I felt pretty bad since she was just trying to do something thoughtful for me.

She ran back to her room and came out with a little box with a red bow on top of it she handed it to me and said: "Since I messed up the breakfast take this I was gonna give it to you with breakfast but well yeah you know what happened so just open this." I looked at her and looked at the box and took it from her and slowly opened it.

There was a little cat keychain she explained to me how she used to work at a cat cafe and she had two cat keychains laying around so she kept one and decided to save the other one "I know its not a lot but I didn't know who my roommate was gonna be so I just tried to guess" she chuckled and she took out her keys and showed me she had a matching one. I smiled at her, to be honest, it was pretty shocking that she was this nice I knew she was quite kind but not this much. 

I remember that I had forgotten her name so just so I didn't seem like a rude guy I asked how to spell her name just so she should tell me her name and the spelling of it pretty much hitting two birds with one stone kind of thing you know.

I made sure to put the keychain on my dorm keys just like she did. I thanked her and went to my room and just ordered breakfast for the both of us since it was the least I could do. I kind of guessed what her favorite breakfast was kind how she did with the keychains when the food finally arrived. I knocked on her door and gave her breakfast and told her to think of it as a thank you gift.

When I finished my breakfast I decided to go to the living room and decided to watch some tv since I'm usually focused on school I don't really have breaks so watching tv has to be something I usually just do to relax.

 I put on a random show and L/n came out of her room and asked what I was watching "To be honest I don't know what I'm watching I just put a random channel" I told her and she sat next to me and started watching tv with me I wasn't really sure what we were watching but it was some sort of comedy show I was looking at her each time she laughed she seemed even brighter in my eyes and damn it was cute.
