OK today is the day. I am finally going to do it. I am sick of constantly backing out of it I think to myself.

I walk down the corridor heading to Maddie's room.

When I reach her room I lightly knock on the door. She opens it and allows me in straight away.

"Hello Connor. How are you today?" She said with a smile.

She walked over to her couch and sat in the corner of it. She softly tapped the cushion beside her signaling for me to sit down, so I do with a smile.

"Hi Zizi. I am very well... Well I need to ask u something...." I said getting nervous.

"What do you want to ask me?" She says as I can't help but notice how beautiful she looks.

"Well...." I pause for a minute realizing what I am about to do.

Do it, do it, do it. Don't back out again. I kept repeating this over and over in my head.

"I was wondering if you want to go out sometime? Like for dinner or something." I say as I feel my heart start pounding like mad.

Oh my heavens above did Connor just ask me out?!

I hesitate to answer.

Is it just a joke? No Connor doesn't do that to people.... That means he is actually asking me out.... Finally...

I realize he is still awaiting my answer.

"I would love to  Connor", I say as a smile at him and hug him. He hugs back.
