Taking It All Back

[Arisawa]

   I closed my eyes like he taught me and I felt the power surge. I opened my eyes and I have a sleeveless black cloak made out of dark aura. I jumped into the chimney of the prison. With this cloak the ability to warp between space and flight is unlocked. I floated down the chimney and landed on the floor below.

"Freeze motherfucker." Said a guard. I looked at him and watched tendrils made of darkness materialize out of nothing and begin to choke him. He falls to the ground. Sweet, new powers too.

   Two other guards rushed to their partner's aid a tad too late. They opened fired with their pistols. I extended my hand like I've seen Lightning do in the past and stopped the bullets with a dark aura, then I flung it towards them killing both of them something he didn't do. I then began to head down the stairs.

[Keyshia]

   "We interrupt this program with breaking news. Arisawa Xenna, student of the late Lightning Xavier has broken into Main City and has the security in a panic." I looked at the time it's 11:50 at night.

"There's our sign." Inyu said.

"Broken in? The security is tight there how did she get past them something big is about to go down."

"Let's keep watching."

[Arisawa]

   Another guard in front of me fell to the ground lifeless. I reached the basement. I see one cell. Inside the cell a girl with extremely long black hair sat in a corner.

"Hanabi?" I said.

The girl opened her eyes. Hanabi should have sky blue eyes but her eyes were completely silver now.

"Blondie?" She said weakly.

"What have they done to you?" I asked

"Let's just say I understand now why Lightning had all this pent of frustration and urges to kill." She replied weakly.

"Here." I tossed her the ring. She caught it. "Put it on."

   She put it on and a black cloak of aura appeared on her unlike mine and his, hers have sleeves.

"This sense... Courtesy of-" I shushed her before she finished, someone was walking towards us.

"Oh no, carry on the conversation girl's, I understand what's going on now, some gods are angry with us." Maru showed him self smiling. "I'm not going to do anything out of pettiness. Infinity is on his way so here you better leave while you can." Maru pressed a red button. "I shut off the security system so just walk through the front door. Consider this a temporary alliance."

"Why are you helping us escape." Hanabi asked.

"I'm not stupid, I know both of you are currently reeking in godly ki, meaning I am no match for the both of you at the same time. I also know that there are two more nearby since originally three were sensed. Today is not a day I die." He replied

"There's more to it." I said. "Why are you helping us."

"My mother and I are at odds somewhat. Call me petty." Maru said then grin. "You must have the truth seeking Genetic Genocide. You were my brother's girlfriend right?"

"Yes." I replied remembering the dinner where I became a vampire.

"I see. So there's another issue. Unless that issue is a God in hiding." Maru walked out the room.

"Let's go." Hanabi said.

"Want to see something cool?" I asked.

"Sure."
