I just hope Jack can help me with this.
The next few days Mrs. Fishbach and I prepared for Mark's stay.
Mrs. Fishbach ran frantically around the house as she cooked a wonderful feast that was unknown to my still learning nose.
Whenever I asked if she had needed help she would tell me that I'm a guest and not to worry about her son who doesn't care about appearances such as a mother's home.
To help I fluffed some pillows to the couch and set out some blankets in the guest bedroom since I had took his for the time.
All of a sudden the dogs began barking all at once like it had the first day I walked though the door.

Mark's home.

We we're all at the table eating the wonderful dish Mrs. Fishbach had laid out for Mark's visit.
"Ma, you didn't have to do this just for me."
"Nonsense, it's not always about you Mark." She gushed.
As they bickered I slid some of the dogs some of the table scraps before standing up to clean my plate.
"I'll get it (Y/N)." Mark graciously offered.
"Thank you Mark." I replied only to be cut off by a knock on the door. "And I guess I'll get that."
I walk to the door with the dogs all hounding me for a peak at the intruder.
I crack the door open and a booming voice answered my pending question.
"TOP OF THE MORNIN' (Y/N)!" Jack answered.
The dogs responded by clawing at the door and barking back at him, keeping the door from opening was difficult.
"H-Hey Jack. Bad timing, I kinda have-"
"Jack!" Mark's cheerful voice made me jump and let the door swing open, allowing Jack to be open to the dogs.
His laughter indicated that he was okay.
I turn to Mark in confusion, "You know Jack?"
"I know Seán, yes." He gently brushed past me as I felt, one by one, the dogs joyfully rush past me.
"What are you doing here, Jack?" Mark questioned.
"Well I'm here for PAX like you. But I stopped by-"
I cut Jack off "-Because I promised I'd grab him coffee!" I smiled weakly at the two of them, hoping Jack got the hint.
"Right! I took her out for a drink and now she owes me." He's lie sounded less believable however Mark fell for it.
"Well okay! Let me just tell my mother where I'll be at and I'll come join!" Mark said stepping past me again.
"Don't forget about curfew!!" Jack exclaimed laughing it off one second then quietly asking, "What was that about?"
I shrug and sigh. "I don't want him to know yet.." I then shake my head and turn my head to look at him, "Any leads?"
A sad sigh came from the Irish fellow, "Nada. But it's still early. Couple more weeks."
Arms then slide from behind my back to hold my stomach and picked me up. "Whatcha taking about (Y/N)?" Mark laughed.
"W-wha- Nothing!" I quickly say with Mark catching me off gaurd twice in one blow.
"I don't believe ya!"
I flail my arms and legs as the massive man carries me around the yard with Jack following, calling for him to let me go.
