Prologue
(Takes place after the resolution of the play)
(All actors on stage, make a crowded hallway, CASSIE steps out, actors continue moving)
CASSIE
You know, it's funny how after a long period of depression and darkness, people have that moment, that realization moment, where they find out that not everything is bad, when they find hope. I've always been told that I'd have that moment, that I just needed to be patient. And I never believed it. I didn't think it was possible. These people tell me these fantastic tales of their 'Ah ha!' moments, all touching stories involving sick children, or orphaned baby animals, and I never thought it would happen to me. But my story's a little different.
(CASSIE joins crowd, fade out)
