today, i'm going to tell you guys a story.
this story is not fiction, and it's totally real (same difference)
okay.
this happened last night.
My dad and I were watching "The Office".
We were waiting for mom to come home.
We were bored.
We had our laughs and jokes
Until,
We heard a whimper.
It's like from a child,
Or
a baby.
We don't know.
And we don't care.
Until,
boxes of my dad's action figures were moving by itself.
We paused the show.
My dad grabbed a flashlight
from the desk near the bed.
I put my hot compress down and look around the room.
Silence.
We heard the moving of boxes again.
My heart was beating rapidly
and I can tell my dad is too.
The whimper got louder in each and every move we make.
We stopped.
Until
my dad screamed.
I looked towards his direction.
And
It was just a cat.
Happy May fools day!
