Like every story mine has a beginning. My parents were killed, they died because for once the flash wasn't fast enough. I was 5 when that happened. I basically lived in a foster home for a year and trust me I'm never going back to that hell hole. I ran away when I was 7 and I was found, but not by the heroes. I was taken under the lights wing, they treated me like most kids there, fairly. Then I turned 9 and all of that changed. That's when the training begun. If you failed to finish your task you were beaten, if you refused an order you were beaten, if you disobeyed you were beaten. I hated this place. I managed to almost get out once, don't remember anything for a week after that. I eventually just accepted the fact I'd never get out and well here I am 5 years later. I'm 15, I have brown hair with blue eyes and freckles scattered across my cheeks and nose, I'm 5'6 and I could kill you with a toothpick. Oh I almost forgot, my name is Lily Hill, code name: Nightingale. I live in a small room with a single window, a small bed, a table with a chair, a art easel, and a book shelf. I learned all of my school stuff from a tutor they most likely kidnapped some time ago. I had a phone but It's not like I could really just text someone, I have nobody's number. I'm currently painting a picture of the view outside my window. It's not much, just a forest. There was a sudden loud bang making me jump.
"Nightingale, It's time for your first mission." A voice rang out.
I set the paints down and looked at the bullet proof glass I called my wall. He typed something into the keypad and the sliding door of the glass opened and the man walked inside. I've never seen him before.
"My name is Vandal Savage and I think you can help us with a little problem we have." He said with a smile.
"Problem?" I asked raising a brow.
"The young justice." He said with a growl.
We've been forced to train with sims of them. I know how to take out most of them but Robin and Kid Flash. He tossed me an outfit.
"You'll be needing these too." He said handing me a bag filled with weapons.
I grabbed the stuff and he walked me to a bathroom. I went inside and changed.

(Number 1) to be honest it's not bad. I put weapons here and there then walked out.
"Great, I hope you prove to be as good as Slade says you are." He said folding his arms.

We arrived at the battle scene, I was the secret weapon. The injustice league was currently loosing.
"Now you know the plan." Slade said sternly.
"Yes sir." I said nodding.
He nodded and I used the shadows as insurance running along towards the team. I grabbed a krytponite laced dagger and moved quickly I stabbed it deep into superboy's back making him cry out. He fell to the floor and all fighting stopped and eyes were on me.
"Oh you kitties are so screwed." Joker laughed out.
"Who is that?" Kid Flash asked.
"It doesn't matter." Aqualad said sternly running at me.
I swiftly dodged and kneed him in the gut. I dodged a kick from Robin and suddenly found myself tied up. Superspeed, great.
'We don't want to hurt you' A voice in my head said.
This girl is in my head.
"Get out of my head!" I shouted.
I grabbed a knife and began to cut the ropes around me.
"Hey calm down okay." Kid Flash said.
Calm down? Do they do this with everyone they capture. I snapped the ropes around me and ran at Robin. I caught him by surprise and landed a punch. He dodged my next swing and sent one towards me. I ducked down last second and stuck my leg out. I spun and and he fell to the floor with a thud. I was about to pin him down an eject him with a sedative when I was suddenly pinned to the floor. But not by a person but the air it's self? I figured it was the martian's powers.
"Let. Me. Go." I said sternly.
She shook her head and Robin walked over to me. He had a syringe in his hand, a sedative. My eyes widened. I quickly grabbed a knife and threw it at the martian. it impailed itself in her arm. I noticed the injustice league is long gone along with my ride back. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? I landed on the ground as her hold over me left. I directed the sedative in Robin's hand to himself and ended up sedating him. Next I was facing Kid Flash, great. I used the wind to held me and saw he was running at me from my left. I stepped aside and stuck my foot out. He tripped with a yelp and crashed into the ground. The martian came at me this time with a girl in a green crop top. Yea I ended up getting pinned down. Kid flash came into my line of view with a syringe. He injected it into me and my eye lids grew heavy. The girl in green got off me and Kid Flash lifted me up bridal style as my vision gave out and everything went black
