Our day was fun. We laughed, went to lunch, got ice cream, saw a movie, and went on an evening walk. It was so fun I didn't want anything to ruin it. As we walked along the beach hand in hand, my headache came back. I flinched but ignored it. Finally it stopped after a few minutes and I felt better, but I didn't know that was only the beginning. My vision blurred and the pain from my head was too much. Suddenly my body went limp, and I collapsed.
While I was passed out, he had carried me back to the little boat rental place we passed. The owner called an ambulance and we ended up at the hospital. I felt bad for fainting but he looked so relieved to see me awake. I just wish the bright hospital lights weren't part of our date.
