I sat at the side watching the way his body cut through the water like a knife through butter, I love James but he is my best friend. Ever since he dumped Leah I knew I wanted him, but alas he was as straight as a ruler.

After his swimming practice we went to my house as he always did when his dads girlfriend came over. he looked uncomfortable so I tried to get his to tell me what was wrong but he would always reply with 'its nothing to worry about' or 'I'm fine'. once we got to my house we got in and ordered pizza. "Bro what the hell has gotten in to you, has someone died or something?" I all but screamed.

"Scott, I told you it's nothing to worry about !" He screamed back, "I've known you for seven years James, I know when something is wrong with you so just tell me. it can't be that bad."

"Fine if you want to know so bad, then I'm gay ... for you." I was stunned into silence my crush of 2 years likes me, "that's why I broke up with Leah it's because I love you Scott , I get it if you never want to see me again but I had to tell y-" before he could finish his sentence I had slammed my lips to his. He didn't kiss back at first but when he did I understood what Leah meant by he was a great kisser.

We were interrupted by a knock on the door "i'll get it he said running out of the living room to get the door.

Shit why did I do that. Shit, shit, shit, shit, SHIT !!! Omg he probably hates me now oh shit.

"I'm sorry James!" I apologised as he walked back in with the pizza boxes in his hands "it's okay, at least I know you like me back. You do like me back right?" He said "Nonononono of course I like you back actually I've liked you since you broke up with Leah"." I confessed. he looked really annoyed "so I could have done that sooner!" he exclaimed "Oops?"

--30 minuets later--

"Do you want to be my boyfriend?" he asked after we finished out pizza.

"Ummmmmm ... hell yeah!"

And we have been together ever since.
