Chapter fourteen- escaping

Liu's point of view

Jane and I looked at each other in surprise "yeah but why are you helping us? Did Slender Man do something to you?" I asked "n-no-o but he'd gone t-to-o far, he's going to open the rift to the underworld and end this world as we know it" Toby panicked.

"He's been making us take innocent lives for years and now it's time to stop" Nina said as she pulled out her knife and pushed it into the lock of our cell, she opened it and then we opened Ben and LJ's cell.

We were about to leave when the ground opened and we fell into an underground room "where are w-we-e?" We stood up and found that we were in a dungeon.

"we're in Slender Man's basement" Toby revealed "ALRIGHT THAT'S IT!" Laughing Jack fumed "I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF BEING TRAPPED IN DARK ROOMS AND BOXES, FORCED TO LIVE A LIFE OF MURDER!" I had never LJ get that angry before.

Once LJ had calmed down we wondered through a dark, smelly, bloodied hallway then reached a door that lead to a weapons cupboard "I can see our knives" I whispered to Jane, walking in and grabbing them.

We then heard the sound of "living in the sunlight" by Tiny Tim and we walked into a room with a record player with the song playing on it "where are we?" Ben whispered as we entered.

It was an empty room with nothing but a tv, playing nothing but static and the record playing one of Tiny Tim's songs but it was distorted or though able to hear it seemed like the record was about to die out.

We found a door and it lead to an outdoor area it was a cemetery and we were about to walk back to the mansion when we saw LJ standing in front of a gravestone and we walked up to him.

We read the grave and it said "here lies Isaac Grossman" we looked up at LJ " oh man I'm so sorry" I whispered "don't worry about it now gather round we need to get back to the mansion" and with that we all held hands and all teleported inside the great hall of the mansion.
