Chapter two- a monster

Jeff's point of view

I stood there, tears streaming down my face before I turned to go back to the mansion "I knew it....I'm a terrible monster" when I got back to the mansion i went straight up to my bedroom.

For the next few days I drank copious amounts of alcohol and I would try to go killing but found myself not feeling up to it. "Jeff please this isn't healthy you have to get over the fact that Liu and Jane won't forgive you for what you did" EJ consoled, squeezing my shoulder tightly.

"But you don't understand I'm a monster" EJ stroked my back "but we're all monsters you're a killer, we all are it's in our nature to do terrible things. Just then Ben and Laughing Jack walked into the living room.

"Yeah but you've never killed your own family members or burned your best friend alive" I exclaimed "oh come now kiddo I killed my own best friend Isaac" Laughing Jack confessed. "You only killed Isaac 'cause you thought it was a game" I pointed out.

"Yeah but- wait what do you mean by "thought" it was a game? " LJ asked suspiciously. "I'll explain later I just need some alone time" I said before I stood up and walked to my bedroom.

Liu's point of view

I was putting Yvonne into bed when I started thinking about Jeff and what he had said earlier was he telling the truth? I thought to myself before stepping out of Yvonne's bedroom and closing the door. "Are you okay?" I heard Jane ask me "y-yeah I-I'm fine I was just....thinking about what Jeff had said about why he tried to kill us."

Jane grimaced "you don't seriously believe Jeff do you?" She asked suspiciously "well be could be telling the truth I heard that Slender Man has an ability to controlling the minds of kids and teenagers."

Jane pondered for a moment "well if it was true he would have told us the moment we reunited" Jane theorized. "Well I think we should find Slender Man's mansion and find out for sure" I suggested.

"But who's gonna look after Yvonne? Each of our parents are dead" Jane pointed out. "Well the only option is take her with us but then there's the monsters I've heard about"

"I suggest take Yvonne with us and be super protective" Jane suggested which I nodded in agreement.

We snuck into our adopted daughter's bedroom, took her out and put her into a sleep before heading out the door and towards the woods since that's where I've heard the mansion is.
