We went straight home,after they left."Lets go to the mall"Marny said,"I wanna look for an awesome outfit!"She added.

"I reckon you'll wear something slutty for Luke"I say laughing.

"Shut up...what are you wearing?...for Michael"She says looking at me.

"I'm not going for Michael...or anyone"I say crossing my arms,"Im going to have fun,and so are you" Smiling at Marny.

"Okay..."Marny says fixing her hair.The truth is I was very nervous,and I didn't know what was going to happen.I went online and googled up the Concert on The Griffith Campus.Five bands were gonna play,5sos was the third band,we were just going to see wannabe bands play,then the band that Michael plays in.

I watched several movies until we had like three hours left to get ready.I untangled the braid and fixed my brown hair as it fell to my shoulders.I wore Jeepers Peepers sunglasses,Moto blue Mom shorts,Happy Cleated sole boots,and a Sheer Sleeve crop shirt.

Ron texted me and offered to pick us up.I knew if I said yes Michael would be there...and I can't afford to see Michael.Of course I said no,I knew how to perfectly get there on a bus.I quickly painted my nails red velvet,and put makeup on.I fixed my bed and stuffed any clothes into my closet,I found a ring under my bed as I stuffed some books from school.It was the ring that I saw on Michaels thumb.I wore it on my thumb,but it slipped off so I put in my pocket.

We had less than an hour to get there,"Marny,im ready lets go"I say knocking on the bathroom door.I waited outside,When Marny came out she was wearing a short skirt and crop top...she wanted to impress Luke."You look nice"marny says smiling.

When we were on the bus I was having a panic attack because I was so nervous,To see him.We finally got there,there were a lot of people,Like extreme goth people,and colourful people.We had to buy face paint to blend in,I made black lines on my cheeks,Marny spray painted her hair Blue.

A band already played when we got there,Marny was dancing like crazy,so was I when this band called Wolf mother and another called Crowded house.Then 5sos came on stage and said some funny jokes before playing,I was in front with Marny,I saw Michael laughing with Ashton.

When they started playing,i was suprised to see Michael playing that Electric guitar like a boss,he sang different this time,it wasn't a soft voice it was hard and loud.Everyone was crazy,Marny was was screaming,she grabbed my hand we started jumping with the crowd.They played Voodoo doll,I heard Michael sing " I can feel you watching even when you're Nowhere to be seen, .I can feel you touching even when you're far away from me"

I looked at him and smiled at the memory of me and him singing together for the first time.He caught me looking as he played the Electric guitar,I looked away.They played Greenlight,and I have to say,it was amazing.A guy with a baby blue fringe held my as he danced,They played one more song "Wrapped around your finger" Michael was one that I heard singing the most.

I really liked it,because it was slow.I looked at Michael and he looked like he was having a good time.I took his ring from my pocket and slipped it onto my thumb.Their band actually played good,it was the best one.I looked at Michael once more and left.

I sat at a bench that faced the lake,I played around with the ring thinking about things.When they were done playing I looked back to see them getting off the stage from the back.A lot of people crowded them,I knew they would also get girls attention.Marny came running towards me,"Zoe!,what the hell are you doing here,away from the fun." she says sitting next to me.

"I don't want to be there...when they start flirting with the hookers" I say looking at the water.

"You mean when Michael starts to...flirt"She say nudging me with her elbow, "anyway,theres a party...and we're going"She says hugging me.

"No we are not going...we're probably gonna get drunk and do something stupid" I say shaking my head no.

"Well that's what you think,Im gonna have fun...and probably get drunk...you're right,but it's gonna be worth it,we'll have lots of fun and forget anything that bothers us"She says now pulling and dragging me towards the crowd.

I knew if I went to that party I would regret it,but I gave it a shot,to have fun and meet other people.All of the bands were meeting the people,Michael was talking to a girl with purple hair.She seemed attractive,and tall.They were flirting with each other,Its not like I was right there looking at them,by chance I saw them by the corner.He's probably going to have sex with her.

Ron was walking towards me,"Hey Jackman...whats up?" he said chewing on his thumb.

"I'm fine...you're here to drive them right?"I say looking at him.

"Yes I am...would you want me to drive you and your fine looking friend of yours?"He asked combing his dark hair.

"No thanks" I say in a plain voice.

"why...cause of what happened with Michael?"he says with a smirk.

"How do you know anything...why do you care?"I say staring at the grass.

"I don't care...and I know about...that,because he's always talking about you while he practices,today even."He says smiling weirdly.

"Really...did he say that to you in general or you over heard him?"I say with a warm feeling.

"well...I'm always at there house,so yeah,stop using me for information...i asked you something"he says annoyed.

"Right...its complicated,I don't need to tell you"I say

"Well...I have a Ute now and it's divided into two parts...you guys can sit in the other part,and I sold the Van." He says putting his hands on his hips feeling cool."He won't even know you guys are there...and you seem pretty exhausted to go take the bus all the way to the party" he added with a smile.

"Okay...you better be right,and good for you,for selling that van"I say smiling back.He squeezed in through the crowd and disappeared.

I didn't know how I could possibly agree to this but I did,I knew Michael was talking about me and that was something.Its hard to respect the distance Michael has put between us,but I'm determined to break that.
