We were so blinded by the word 'love'
How they said that it was such a beautiful thing

Who would've thought?
The person you are looking at, they may be just passer by
You'd thought you wanted to spent a lifetime with that person
Gambling about the future
Not caring what it might bring
Who would've thought?
You'd stare at some old pictures you kept in a box
You'd look at them over and over again
Feeling the pain over and over again
Who would've thought?
Life would be as complicated as it is
You'd search for the meaning of life
You'd go back and forth searching for the meaning of love
Who would've thought?
The person with such sweet face
Such mesmerizing glare
Would hurt you this bad
They were such beautiful things
Oh, how we were so blinded by the sight of 'love'
Who would've thought?
That you'd feel so lonely
So hurting
But they were such beautiful things.
