Chapter 1

**15 years ago**

I wake up to the sound of the closet door. I watch carefully from behind the sheets scared at the boogie man came for me. I hear some voices in the background. I ran as fast as I could to get out of my room and start to look for daddy. I hear him yelling at

some of his workers but I don't understand why. I peak through the door to see who is be yelling at. He notices me when I open the door and stops yelling knowing that I don't like when people yell at me or at anyone else.

"Why are you still awake, darling?" He says softly taking me in his big arms

"T-there is a m-monster in my c-closet." I said snuggling into his arms

"Is there?" He asked and I nodded in response "We'll talk later." Daddy told the other men that were with him in his study. He started walking to my room.

"Where is that monster, love?" He said when we entered the room. I pointed to the closet. He laid me in the bed and walked to my closet and opened the door. "There's no monster here."

"Maybe it moved to under the bed." I mumble he walked to my bed and checked under my bed.

"No there's nothing there either, darling."

"A-are you s-sure?" I said bringing the sheet back to my face

"Yes, I am sure. Now go back to sleep." He tucked me in bed and gave me a kiss on my forehead

"What if it comes again?"

"If it comes, you call me and I'll come and save you." He said with a serious tone "Now go to sleep, love"

The door opened and closed that's daddy leaving me in the darkness of my room. I closed my eyes and slowly drifted to sleep.

**10 years ago**

Today is my 10th birthday but daddy said that I wouldn't have a party because he was away and wouldn't make it on time. I was here watching Tom and Jerry with my nanny, Cassandra, she has blonde hair, pale skin, and green eyes but sometimes they turn pitch black. I've ask her a few times why do they turn that color but never answers or changes the subject and talks about totally different things.

"I'm going to the kitchen do you need anything, Camille?" Cassandra asked me standing up from the couch. I shoke my head

"The only thing I need. You can't help me get it." I said not removing my eyes from the tv

"You know if it was for your father he would be here with you."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. But he still didn't cancelled work for today." I said angrily she only sighed in response made her way to the kitchen to make lunch.

I heard the entrance door and walked to see who came in. When I see who it was I almost died.

"DADDDYYYYY!!!!!" I screamed jumping into his arms

"Hello, Happy 10th Birthday, Camille." He whispered in my ear taking me in his arms

"Thank you, daddy. I missed you." I told him I noticed that there was a man behind him "Who is that?"

"Camille this is Castiel. Castiel this is my daughter, Camille." Daddy said signaling to greet him

"Nice to meet you, Camille." Castiel said stretching his hand for me to shake it remaining his face expressionless

"Nice to meet you, too." I smile and shoke his hand. He looks like a really nice person.

**5 years ago**

I was in the pool swimming and watching my bodyguards that my dad gave me so that I would be save but my question always is save from what? What's so dangerous that I should be watched the 24 hours 7 days of the week? I already start feeling hungry so I get out of the pool and make my way to the kitchen before I go inside I tell the guys they can stay here because I was going to the kitchen and back.

I enter the kitchen and check the fridge. I make myself a sandwich and walk through the house. I passed by my dad's study and hear him yelling at someone. The door was open and I see him reaping one of his workers heart. I gasp and he snapped his head to the door and saw me. I swear I went pale because he noticed I was scared of him.

"Camille darling come here let's talk." He said stretching his hand for me to hold it

"Y-you just killed him" I said pointing to the body

"Let me explain" he said with pleading eyes I gave up and sat down far away from him.

"Ok let's talk. Explain to me why did you kill him? Why does your eyes or the eyes of everyone that work for you turn pitch black every now and then?" I said once I calmed myself. He sat down next to me.

"Well darling I am a demon and all the people that work for me are demons too." He said and explained everything. He told me that monsters existed, vampires, werewolves, etc. When he finished I told him that I wanted to leave. That I wanted to move out of the house as soon as I turned 18. He said that it was ok that in three years I could move to a penthouse he had in Cali. I left to my room and try to process everything he told me.

**2 years ago**

Today is the day. Today is my 18th birthday. Today I finish packing and my training. It's been 3 years since I know my father's secret. I now know that he is a demon and that now he is the king of hell. In other words he isn't a normal demon nor dad.

Now I understand why he needed me to be with so many bodyguards when I was younger. When he told me his secret and I told him my decision to leave when I turned 18 he told one of his strongest men, Drake, to teach me how to defend myself. He taught me how to shoot a gun, how to throw knives, archery, and any other way possible to defend or kill demons or anything that a hunter may know.

"Camille darling. Are you ready?" My dad said peaking through the doors

"Yes I'm done. Is the truck ready?" I said grabbing a few boxes

"Yes, they are waiting for you to give them the boxes to start loading it." A sad smile appeared on his face but I ignored it

"Ok. Tell the guys to help me and bring the rest." I said carrying a few boxes. In less than two hours we were already finish with the boxes and I started saying my goodbyes starting with Cassandra my ex nanny, then Drake, and for last my dad. I embraced him in a hug, gave him a kiss in the cheek and let go.

"Wait before you leave I got a present for you." He said taking my hand and placing a set of keys in it

"What are these?" I ask and he pointed to a black Dodge Charger. My mouth went wide open in an less than a millisecond

"THANK YOU!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I'm gonna miss you." I said a tear left my eyes he wiped it with his thumb kissed my cheek and told me to leave before it got late. Cassandra gave me my leather jacket and my bag. I started the car that smelled like new and left.
