ETHAN
I walk into the cafeteria with Grayson, looking for Justice's table. I spot her sitting with Lena and Angel.
"Come on." I tell Grayson, and we walk to their table.
"Hey." I smile sitting down, next to Justice.
"Hey." She smiles back.
Lena looks at Grayson, smiling. It's obvious she likes him.
"So, how've you changed so far?" Justice smiles at me.
"Changed?" Grayson asks.
"I'm gonna change my personality, you know, become a better person." I tell him.
He raises his eyebrow, "what about me? We're the exact same. Should I change?"
"You aren't the same, you're better behaved than me but still mean I guess."
"Then I'll change too, but not for Justice." He smirks at Lena.
"Anyway, so what's changed?" Justice asks me.
"Well, I've not picked on anyone. And I've done my homework." I say. It doesn't sound like much but for me, it's a lot.
"Awesome, you must really like me." She smirks. Lena, Angel and Gray are just in their own conversation.
"Yup." I admit.
— After Lunch
JUSTICE
I walk out of my History class, looking on my phone.
"JUSTICE!" I hear someone yell. I look up to see Lena running towards me.
"Hey, what's up?" I smile at her, putting my phone in my pocket.
"Um, come with me." She says unsteadily, she grabs my hand and drags me to the library.
"What's going on?"
"Look." I see a bunch of students outside the library, cheering for someone.
"Go." She says. I run up to them, pushing through the crowd. I see Ethan and some boy fighting.
"ETHAN ETHAN ETHAN!" The crowd yells.
I push through them, and everyone looks at me.
Graysons trying to get Ethan off the boy but he's stuck like glue.
Grayson sees me and runs to me. "Justice, help! He's not doing anything. You're the only one that can get him to move." He panics. I nod and run into the fight.
"Stop!" I scream at the boy, and at Ethan trying to get them to stop. Before I could blink, I'm being pushed to the ground by a punch.
The fight stops and Ethan and the boy look at me.
"YOURE DEAD!" Ethan screams, punching the guy to the floor.
"Ethan stop! IM FINE." I yell. He gets up, heading towards me.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt? I'll kill him." Ethan says. He doesn't care that people are watching, he cares about me. I smile at him, he looks at me perplexed.
"Come on." Grayson says. Me, Gray and Ethan walk out of the crowd, heading to their car.
"Hey, I have to go." Lena runs up to me.
"Okay, see you later." I smile at her and she nods and runs off.
We all get into their car, driving to their house.
— The Twins House
"Yes, I'm fine okay. I'm at Ethan and Grayson's house." I say to my Auntie on the phone.
"Okay, bye sweetie." She says. I hang up, putting my phone on the side.
"Here." Grayson hands Ethan an ice pack for his cheek.
He then gets one for me, "I don't need one." I say to him.
"Have you seen your lip?" He asks me.
"No." He hands me a small mirror, "SHIT!" I yell.
My lips got a bad cut and my cheek is bruised.
"My aunties gonna kill me!" I say.
"No she's not, just say you were play fighting with Lena and you tripped over." Grayson says.
"Okay."
I look at Ethan, he looks sad, angry and guilty for some reason.
"Ethan, what's wrong? You look guilty." I ask.
"I am. I started the fight and if I had stopped when you told me, this wouldn't have happened." He points at my face.
"It's fine. What were you fighting about?" I ask.
"You. The boy was saying you'd be good in bed and that if I get nudes from you to send them to him." Ethan says.
I feel so uncomfortable, I shift around a little.
"Okay, well thanks for protecting me but you didn't have to do that."
"I wanted to." He smiles at me.
