You Deserved Better

Fourth Day Filming

We began to bond.
Every break time we spent together, talking about ourselves, getting to know each other.

"None of us lived where we're filming the show, so we all had to move. But we didn't think we'd ended up in the same apartment building!" Miles bursted into laughter.

Apparently Miles who played Alex, Christian who played Tony, Brandon who played Justin , Dylan who played Clay, and Alisha who played Jessica, accidentally lived in the same apartment building.
I guessed it wasn't weird because the apartment was a few block away from the set and the center of the city.
It was also a new building, so there were still empty apartments.

It was a 10 floors apartment complex with 2 apartments each floor. The first and second floor were already taken.

Alisha and Brandon lived a floor above Christian who lived on the third floor.
Miles and Dylan shared a floor above Jessica and Brandon.

"You know we've manage to convince Ross to move in with us, so why don't you too?" Christian asked me, followed with Alisha's excitement.

"Yeah, yeah, it'll be great! Us living in the same building, having parties, bonding, and other stuffs like maybe we could discuss the film!" Alisha's excitement was contagious, it was almost convinced me to move in with them.

Christian and the other guys were laughing and nodding, they were agreeing to what Alisha said.

Well i was looking for an apartment here, but living in the same apartment building hadn't exactly crossed my mind.

"Yeah, I'll think about it!" i said, smiling almost laughing.

They all nodded and continued what they were doing.
Ross was sitting across from me in the break room. He was sitting between Alisha and Dylan.

"Do you guys know that Ross sings and plays the guitar?" said Devin, who played Tyler, he put his glass down. "I followed his instagram the other day and i saw a video of him playing the guitar and singing."

"Do show us!" Alisha said.

Ross was blushing and turned his head down, "No, no, it's just something i do on my free time" He said, whilst shaking his head no.

"Oh c'mon, we're in between takes. You should do it for us!" said Ajiona, who played Sheri.

Ross laughed a little, "There is no guitar here!"

I heard a quick footsteps outside of the break room, the door opened letting Michelle in.

"You're wrong!" She shouted, she showed the guitar she brought.

Ross was laughing and shaking his head no.

"Where did you even get that?!" Ross said, i could still laughter in his voice.

"It's a prop, c'mon! You have no other excuses!" Michele said.

Everone else and i just agreeing to Michele, yelling yes at Ross.

"Ok, ok. But don't laugh at me!" Ross said. He got up from his seat and took the guitar from Michele.
He sat back down still shaking his head no and smiling.

Ross started to play the intro of a song, i haven't noticed what song it was.
Everyone was silent, listening to Ross.

The music was beautiful, but it got even more beautiful when Ross sang.
His voice was heavy and hoarse, but it was so beautiful, so mesmerizing.
His voice gave me, gave all of us i think, chills.
I realized the song was No Promises by Cheat Code.

He stopped, everyone was silent at first, but we were all started clapping.

"So beautiful!!" said Ajiona.

Ross was smilling and blusing, "Thank you, guys."

"Ok, i'm sorry but i just realized that Katherine rarely talk!" Dylan said.
I was a little shy, so i hardly spoken during almost every conversations. I just sat there listening to everybody.

"Yeah, i think you're right." Ross replied. I smiled at them.

"Why is that? C'mon it's not like we're strangers!" Brandon said, and everybody nodded in agreement.

"Oh it's just i like listening to someone. Especially when someone sings!" i said, looking towards Ross.

"Agree to that!" Brandon replied.

We went back to laughing, and then discussing other things until the crew asked for me and Dylan to start shooting again.
We got up and followed him.
