Chapter Five

I ended up falling asleep while reading the physics book that the professor assigned us for the next year. I looked for my phone on the bed but it was nowhere to be found. Remembering what went down last night, I realized that there were noises in the living room. I walked to my door slowly and unlocked my bedroom's door. I didn't remember locking it but oh well. I opened my door slightly ready to scare the last three brain cells Alan had out of him but before I realized, I was tuning in.

"...Yeah, she had one of her episodes again last night" I heard Alan say.

"Are you fucking serious?" I immediately recognized Sky's voice.

"But it was worst then the ones from before. You don't know what she looked like"

"What happened for fuck's sake?"

Alan sighed then said "I woke up to her screaming and ran to her room. When I got in she was literally trembling and weeping. The fear I saw in her eyes was killing me. Her big eyes just staring up at me so lifelessly and fearfully. I broke my heart just looking at her like that. I don't think that that's normal. I think we should take her to a doctor."

"Why the fuck didn't you call me right away? I told you to!" Sky angrily charged at Alan.

"She begged me not to, I honestly couldn't say no to her when she was so scared." Alan tried to reason with Sky. I love them both but why do they have to act like I'm a child or something. I can handle myself, they don't need to worry. Suddenly my door was pushed open which hit me right in the middle of my forehead and send me a few steps back.

"Oww" I yelped as I closed my eyes and rubbed the spot. I looked up and saw Sky shutting the door behind her.

"Hey, babe" Sky said making her way to my bed and sitting down.

"Hey, hun" I said walking to the floor right in front of my bed and sitting down facing her.

"How are you feeling now" She said looking at me. But I looked down at my fingers as I started picking on them again.

"I'm fine! it just hurts a little." I said massaging my forehead with one hand then adding "I sure have a strong g..." I was cut short by Sky.

"You know that's not what I'm talking about so stop trying to be a smartass" Seriousness was dripping from her voice.

"Look, I'm fine. Seriously. I got used to it. It's just like having a dream. You remember it right after but totally forget about it after a couple of minutes. I hardly even remember what happened!" I lied right through my teeth. I didn't like it but I needed her to stop worrying about me.

"Mia please stop fucking lying, I know you still remember what happened. Can you stop acting like nothing happened for fuck's sake?" I reached for her hand to calm her down a little, Likely she didn't pull away.

"You worrying about me isn't going to make anyone feel better. Plus, I have my knight in shining armor right in front of me to save me from the world! so why worry?" I said in an attempt of lightening up the mood. I got on my knees and moved even closer to the bed. "I love you, and I seriously need you to stop worrying about something that happens all the time to people. Just because I'm weaker doesn't mean it's going to break me." Knowing how bad I must've looked this morning as I cried in Alan's arms. I caught her cheek in on of my hands and rested my forehead on hers.

"I love you more" She pushed me down and landed on my butt and she sat between my legs and wrapped her's around me. She hugged me tightly and I felt safe in her arms as I felt some of the tension in my body fading away into her embrace. "And that's why I'm staying over the night." I couldn't complain about that. She was the best thing that ever happened to me.

"I'll be more than happy to share my bed with you" Just like that the day went by quickly. Alan and I helped Chris with his apartment which took us about 3 hours. Sky had to leave saying something about work and stole the brownies Alan left for me while we were still at Chris'. Now we were in my room. I have no idea what time it is since I decided to be phone free for the day and so I left my phone with Alan. I was sitting on my study studying when Sky approached me her PJ's 

"You need to sleep, come on let's go" she was wearing dark blue short shorts and a black tank top while I was wearing pink PJ pants and a white t-shirt. I turned the study light off and turned the room's light off leaving only my bed stand's light on. Sky already made her way into the bed and waited for me patiently to make my way in, too. I laid down under the covers then covered the both of us and turned my night stand's light off. I kissed Sky goodnight then laid my head on her chest and tangled my legs with her's. I loved the way she smiled. It made me feel at home. Soon, I was sleeping soundlessly. Or I at least hope so.
