Chapter Nine

Arabella's POV:

I instantly go and kneel beside Ethan. I turn around and see Fangs walking back to the dance with no care about what he has done. My mind goes back to Ethan, I hold his unconscious body. What am i going to do? I wipe my tears and dial Toni's number, i wait for three rings and she picks it up.

"Help, Ethan is hurt, we are at the parking lot" I tremble.

"Be there in a sec" She stutters.

After a minute, the gym doors fly open and Toni runs toward us with Cheryl following behind her. "What happened?" Toni asks. "Fangs hit him really hard" i explain." Okay , we will help you getting him in his car , then you can drive him to my place. My mom is out of town and the mansion is really quiet and you can stay there for the night." Cheryl offered."Thank you Cheryl , but where are you gonna stay?" i questioned."She can stay at my place" Toni shrugged."Okay" I knew that Toni liked Cheryl.The girls help me put Ethan in the car, i wave goodbye at them and get in the driver's seat.

While i'm driving i look over at Ethan who is slightly moving."Easy there Eth, i know it hurts but I'm going to take care of you , don't worry" i reassure him , the only thing i get from him is a nod and his eyes are still shut. After a while i see the Thornhill's gate, i park Ethan's truck outside of the house and with lots of struggle i take him inside. I place him on the couch , go to take the first-aid kit, and then sit next to him. Before i say anything i can already tell that he is asleep by his light snoring, i smile. I take care of his face and after i finish i gently stroke his cheek , i get closer to his face, i keep stroking his cheek with my thumb and then i attach my lips to his . After awhile his lips move in sync with mine, he places his hands around my waist, adjusting me on top of him. "Can we stay like this and sleep?" he asks and i smile. I lay my head on his chest , listening his heartbeat, the same heartbeat that comforted me the moment i needed it the most. He wraps his arms around me and holds me tightly , protecting me from the world. That's where i wanted to be, on this couch, with him.

Cheryl's POV:
Toni and I are sitting on her bed watching tv. "I hope Ethan is okay" Toni says out of the blue. "Don't worry he will be, I'm sure Bella is taking care of him." I say and Toni starts chuckling. " what? Why are you laughing?" I ask her with a smile. " oh I'm sure she is taking care of him" she turns to look at me " I mean imagine , two people , in love , in a big house all alone?" She gives me a meaningful look and that's when it hits me. " you don't think they'll..." I widen my eyes in surprise. " no I don't , she will take care of him they way you said it but ..." Toni comes closer to me " actually when I said the way I was thinking of it , I was talking about us..." her beautiful brown eyes look at mine "us...?" I gulped. "Cheryl, I have really strong feelings for you, the reason I invited you to stay at my house wasn't only because Ethan and Bella had to stay at your place but also because I needed you to stay with me , the only thing that I am craving right now is...you" Toni admits, I feel butterflies in my stomach, our lips are inches apart and without any hesitation I grab her by the face, I look at her lips , I place my thumb on her bottom lip and then I crash my lips on hers. Our mouths moving in sync, the kiss is getting more passionate, I run my fingers through her hair, she snakes her arms around me and places me on top of her. We both stop " I don't wanna pressure you , we can take things slow" Toni looks at me and smile " I have feelings for you too, right now the only thing I want is to stay in your arms" I reply with a smile, I give her a peck on the lips and I lay in her arms. She turns off the tv, gives me a kiss on the forehead as I close my eyes and she whispers to me "Goodnight Princess" I drift to sleep while she is playing with the strands of my hair.
~ Morning~
Ethan's POV:
The sunlight coming through the windows makes me open my eyes. As soon as I open them I notice Arabella on top of me sleeping. Then sun makes her sandy blonde hair, gold, my arms are around her. I hold her tight as I smile at her. After a minute or two her eyes flutter open, she lifts her head and her eyes meet mine , the sun makes her arctic blue eyes sparkle. "Good morning gorgeous" I smile at her. "good morning handsome" she rests her head on my chest still looking at me with a wide smile. "How are you feeling?" She asks me with a worried expression. "I'm fine , my face is a little swollen but I'm definitely better than last night." I play with a strand of her hair. She gives me a beautiful smile and I just melt. " Wanna go grab breakfast at Pop's?" I ask and she instantly nods, she gives me a quick peck on the lips and she gets up. "I'm gonna go grab my keys" I inform her and she shouts from the front door "I'll wait in the car!". I grab my Keys and go outside "Okay Arabella, lets go" I look in the car but she's not there "Arabella?" I shout her name,where is she ? Suddenly I turn to look at the back of the truck and I see a note.
" I really don't like rejection, you broke the most important rule Ethan, I asked her first to be my date.YOU TOOK HER AWAY FROM ME, she chose YOU over ME! now? She'll pay"
I rip the note apart and throw the pieces on the ground. "SON OF A BITCH!" I yell and kick one of the truck's wheels. I'll make sure he'll regret the day he was born...
