"Ah, the air is so corrupted here!" I spoke to my mother through the phone. I have just gotten off the plane, going from Russia to Korea.

I wanted a refreshing new start, so I moved to Korea. Now, it was just me and my dog. Takov.

I've been planning this since I was just 16 years of age. I'm now 18, I turned 18 1 month and 16 days ago.

January 2nd, that's my birthday.

The air in Korea was nothing like the Russian air I'm used to. It was clean where I lived, no smoke, no food smells, no pollution.

But that was the least of my stressful worries.

I knew no one in this country. Not a single person. Yet that's how it was in Russia too. I didn't go to school. Hell, I barley even know much of my mother.

People found me weird, a bad influence at that in Russia. I never did anything truly bad, I just had a different way of thinking.

And I don't mean

Why are there toilet paper commercials?
We all are buying it anyways.

I mean

Murder is only bad if the person is an angel to society.

Just getting of the plane, it took me some time to find my luggage. And with my service dog by my side, it was not the easiest task.

I was not the best at the Korean language. But I could definitely read some basic signs, and speak on some basic conversations.

So finding a taxi, and telling the driver where to go was not an issue for me.

It was a long drive, I've got to say. Maybe an hour. Or two. I don't like the idea of time, it's just a constant reminder of when it all comes to an end.

Giving the driver the correct amount of money was a hassle but soon enough, we got it figured out.

Apartment 9. My least favorite number.

I made my way through the doors, and up the carpet stairs.

I looked down the hall.

I counted the doors, making to 9 before shoving the key into the keyhole.

I took small steps into the apartment, weary of the time there was a homeless man living in my hotel room.

I found the light switch, and flicked it on. It made a buzzing noise that I found quite annoying. I'll get used to it soon enough though.

The plane ride was about 8 hours, and since the time zone was different, the sun was just setting.

I looked around my empty apartment.

White walls, carpet floors, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a small kitchen and living room. And the best part, a balcony.

My plan was to find a furniture store near where I was, tomorrow. But for today, I get to sleep on the floor with no blankets or pillows. Not like I've never done that before though. I have multiple times. For weeks on end.
