Chap. 9 - Drapple and Professors

Hermione's POV;

Yesterday was truly a blessing. I loved everything that has ever happened.

I used to think I would only find love in the arms of Ron even during the phase I liked Draco. Honestly, everything that happened between Ron and I is history.

But Draco, Draco's a whole other story... Unlike Ron, he makes me feel needed, precious... He makes me feel like a princess, no actually scratch that, he makes me feel like a damn queen.

Nobody can ever love anyone like how I love Draco... And nobody can love me the same way Draco does.

Today was the day the other prefects as well as Draco and I are going to be discussing the ball.

I gathered the prefects of the different houses to discuss about the ball.

Ginny is the prefect for Gryffindor, Blaise is the prefect for Slytherin, Luna is the prefect for Ravenclaw and a 7th year Hufflepuff named Justin is the prefect for his house.

I ran down to the kitchen of our common room and saw Draco up and... making pancakes?

"Morning," I said as I ran up to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Morning," he replied, smiling at me before placing a few blueberries on a stack of pancakes and a few slices of bananas on the other.

He walked over to the kitchen island and I followed behind him. I knew Draco loves banana pancakes... So I ran to the side where the stack of banana pancakes were and sat down. I gave him a cheeky grin and he looked at me with a mischievous smirk. Shit.

Before I could react I was lifted off my seat and tickled by Draco. Thanks to all the Quidditch practices, my boyfriend was too strong for me to push off of myself.

"Ok... Ok... I'll give... You... Your banana pancakes," I said in between laughters.

"Good," he replied before setting me back down on the chair. I was clinging onto his neck and when he wanted to walk away, I held on tighter.

"Sit beside me pleaseeeee," I said with the cutest expression I could muster.

"Fine, fine," he chuckled before sitting right next to me.

I know it's childish. But I need hik close to me. I just feel protected.

Draco's POV;

After breakfast, Hermione and I headed back to our rooms and got dressed for the day. Our first class was Potions. Due to Professor Snape's... passing, we have a new Professor.

We entered the classroom and to no surprise, most of the seats were empty because it was 10 minutes prior to the start of class.

"Ah, you must be Miss Granger and Mister Malfoy, you two are early, please, choose a seat. Today, we'll be making Amortentia," the professor said with a smile.

Our professor is a male and he has really bright blue eyes with dirty blonde hair. He looked about a few years older than us. Perhaps the youngest professor in Hogwarts.

He was eyeing Hermione's butt so I stood behind her to make him face my butt because I'm just a great student.

How's my Malfoy tush?

Hermione and I walked to the back of the class and sat down. The professor was still staring so I subconsciously did what any boyfriend would do. I pecked her lips.

"What was that for?" She asked.

"The professor was staring at you. Just wanted to make it clear that you're mine," I smiled and pecked her lips one mpre time before looking back to the front to see the professor glaring at me before looking down and reading The Daily Prophet.

Glare at me one more time and I'm going to poke your eyeballs out.

Potions finished genuinely quickly but throughout the lesson the professor was only complementing Hermione and staring at her.

"Hey!" Hermione jumped and grabbed me by the waist as we got out of class.

"Hey princess," I pecked her lips, "Why so cheerful?" I asked.

"Guess what I smelt just now," she said. I smiled knowing it was the smell of my spearmint toothpaste or cologne because those are the smells she tends to compliment me with.

"Spearmint?" I made a guess

She smiled and pecked my lips "Yes,"

"What did you smell?" She asked as I held her hand in mine.

"If I said green apples would you believe me?" I asked, a grin forming on my face.

"Well actually... I won't be surprised," she said.

"Oh really?"

"Yes really," she thought about what to say next. "It's Drapple, I like it," she smiles and walks away.

I chuckled and went after her, "Drapple? Are you seriously shipping me with an apple right now?" I laughed.

"Yeah I am, got a problem?"

"No, not at all," I raised my hands up in surrender. "I did smell green apples but I smelt your particular perfume too. And that was stronger," I pointed out.

"Well I guess you do love me more than a green apple," she laughed. "Good to know Malfoy. Good to know."

The rest of the entire day was filled with boring classes and random conversatioms about the whole "Drapple" situation between me and Hermione.

Though one thing always seemed to cross my mind... That idotic professor. Oh well.

Once the day was over and done with, Hermione and I cuddled by the fire of our common room and fell into a deep sleep.

However, you asked for an update... So here it is! It's slightly shorter compared to the rest but I promise I'll try to make the next chapter longer.
