= 4 - Blondie at the Door =

"Thanks guys, it really means a lot.." Ender said with a smile, directing his message to not only Mitch and Jerome, but also Seto.

"Don't thank us yet, we haven't even gotten started!" Seto chirped, and Ender smiled warmly.

"Heh, I guess so, but still, thanks." Ender chuckled, brushing the hair from his eyes out of subconscious habit. He straightened his posture and yawned softly, stretching out with his arms over his head. He resisted the urge to stretch his wings as well, not wanting to break anything in Seto's house that his wings might be unfortunate enough to collide with.

"Do you have a particular area in mind?" Mitch piped up. "Just out of curiosity."

"Uh.. yeah, I have a general area in mind. The roofed forest has this nice area to start right in the center, and though there are a couple other places that could be suitable too, I figured that one would be the most practical. Also, from what I've heard from quite a few places, humans aren't too fond of exploring the roofed forest, so it would be nicely secluded from society.." Ender responded, attempting to keep his answer brief while explaining his reasoning.

"Good point, it's also got a pretty moderate temperature all year round, so shit like food hopefully wouldn't freeze." Seto chimed in. "I've been there a few times. Haven't been able to venture all the way to the center, but from what I've seen of it, it's a good place."

"Any thoughts on it, Jerome?" Ender asked, glancing at Jerome, and he just chuckled and shook his head.

"Nah, I think it's a great idea. What're your plans to kickstart it though? Like how do you plan on getting things built?" Jerome asked, tilting his head to the side a bit.

"I know a few people, not sure how many of them would be able to help in person, but I'm sure they'd chip in whatever they could on supplies if I asked them." Ender responde, smiling. "Several in this area as well. If you guys know anyone that might wanna help then feel free to invite them on in, too."

Mitch and Jerome paused and shared a glance, then nodded. "We know a few people, you guys wanna meet there in.. oh I don't know, is a month too short?" Mitch suggested.

"Yeah, a month works," Ender said with a nod.

"You got any more connections, Seto?" Ender stated, glancing to the sorcerer.

Seto shrugged and said, "I might know a few people here and there."

A knock on the door disrupted all of their thoughts. Ender instinctively willed his wings, tail, and horns away. He couldn't hold it for very long- that was what his suppressor was for- but he could do it for short periods of time. Seto hopped up and sped out of the room, beelining to the door. Ender followed him out of curiosity, and both Mitch and Jerome followed as well.

By the time they caught up to Seto, the sorcerer had already opened the door and was now hugging the blonde who'd been on the other side of it.

"Brice you're back!"
