The Awakening Curse

Chapter 3: what happened?

When I reached the village my eyes went wide open. Some houses were on fire and there were monsters all around the village.

There was a loud scream that I recognized right away, Zack. I got out my diamond sword and sprinted to the sound swinging my sword at any mob in my way.

Zack kept on screaming for help making me go faster each time. When I reached were his screams were coming from, I saw him surrounded by 3 zombies. My hands tightened the grip on the sword as I launched at the first zombie knocking him at the other one next to him with my sword, then I threw my sword in the third zombie's chest, he fell down flat on the floor. I turned to Zack who was back to back with the wall frightened.

Though I killed these zombies more mobs started coming towards me, but I didn't stop, I won't let them kill my brother, not today, not ever. As I killed the other zombie approaching me, a creeper that I didn't see exploded next to me knocking me back causing me to bump my head to the wall. The last thing I saw before I bumped my head was Zack being taken by someone and disappearing, then I blacked out.

I woke up in a small cage surrounded by monsters from all around me. I couldnt remember anything, even my name. I got up looking around with a terrified look plastered on my face. There was no exit for me to escape. Not knowing why I'm here, where I am, or even who I am, with all the monsters around me, I sat there doing nothing but hugging my knees to my chest.

I stayed there for a long time until I couldn't see anything but smoke. I looked around me to try and see what was happening but saw nothing, then the cage door opened and someone took my hand, "come on" he said and pulled me out running up stairs that I didn't notice before.

We ran for a long time until I stopped him when we were far enough being able to see how he looked like. He had brown messy hair and green eyes, and he was wearing a white short sleeve shirt with a brown sleeveless leather jacket over it, and brown pants with dark brown shoes, "what's happening? and who are you? And where are we goin-"

"Calm down a bit, I'm Jacob and were going to my house where we're safe, now lets go before-" he was cut off by a growl coming from the forest. Monsters started coming out after a while and a spider jumped at my leg biting me. Jacob grabbed my hand and ran away not noticing the bite.

We kept on running from the monsters but they were still right behind us, except the zombies of course, then I felt a tingling feeling in me. I tightened my grip on his hand, and when he looked at me and his eyes widened. I went really fast not noticing that at all, and Jacob was flying back holding to my hand, "hold on stop!" he shouted but I couldn't hear him.

There was a house in the distant and we were close, then I slowed down and fell down on the floor. Jacob fell also rolling until he hit a tree. He got up rubbing his head then notice me laying down.

I felt pain all over me, and each time I tried to move it got even worse. He carried me and started running to the house that I was guessing was his house.

He opened the door and ran to the couch putting me down, "guys come here and help me!" he shouted, and soon after a girl and two guys came down.

"What happened?! who's that?!" The girl asked, and one of the guys ran back upstairs.

"I don't really know, Jason do you?" he asked looking around him, "Jason?" he called out, and after a while the same guy came back with a bottle that had something glowing red.

"Open your mouth" he said, and I did. He held my head up and poured the liquid in my mouth. It took a while but soon the pain washed away and I felt better. I got up and looked at my led seeing my veins black and popped up, now the black disappearing and they're going back.

"Thanks" I said.

"No problem" he replied. He had black sort of long hair going over one of his brown eyes, and he was wearing a white shirt and a blue short sleeve checkered jacked, and black pants with grey shoes, "I'm Jason by the way, what's yours?"

"Oh I'm... Natalia...?" I answered, barely remembering that. When I went pretty fast some memories played in front of me before I fell down.

"Is that a question or an answer?" the other guy asked.

"I really don't know, I can't remember much, I barely remembered my name" I explained looking down at my feet.

"Come on don't be sad, we'll help you! I'm Ashley" the girl said cheering me up. She had long blonde hair and crystal blue eyes, and she was wearing a purple short sleeve shirt and light blue jeans with dark purple shoes, I'm guessing she likes purple.

"And I'm drake!" the other guy said. He also had blonde hair but short and crystal blue eyes, from the looks I'm guessing that Ashley and Drake are twins. He was wearing a blue short sleeve shirt and dark blue jeans with black shoes.

We talked for a while knowing each other more then we went to sleep, and for me I slept in an extra room at the top. I kept shifting from left to right trying to relax but it didn't work, and each time I closed my eyes I felt someone's presence right in front of me, even after I opened my eyes.

The sun came up after a while and I still didn't get any sleep, but I fell asleep after an hour or two, barely.

really I'm VERY happy if your reading my story!

Nothing big but wattpad deleting this chapter after writing it two times in a row! That's why I didn't publish yesterday...

But I learned my lesson from the third time and copied it! and it worked!

IM GOING TO COPY THIS SO IT WONT GET DELETED WATTPAD!!!
