Chapter 14 (The End)

Riots POV

It was about 1:00 am. Our last night here. Dan and I were quietly talking to each other while Brittany and Phil were sleeping. "Dan. I really don't have to live with you. And you don't have to break up with Casey. Especially if we aren't dating." I whispered. "No but I want you to. And Casey is too clingy. I already told you I wasn't going to have girls over." He smiled at me. We looked to each other's eyes, dim moonlight coming through the windows. We leaned our heads together. He pressed his lips to mine. We moved together. Skin tingling where his lips were. He put his tongue on my bottom lip and I let him in. We kissed for a few minutes then pulled apart. We pressed our foreheads together and laughed quietly. "You are beautiful. You know that right. I wouldn't be wasting my time." He half smiled at me. "Yeah you would. But that doesn't matter. I know you can't resist me." I joked and we both laughed. "Your insane you know that?" we laughed together. "But all the best people are." He smiled while speaking. We fell asleep next to each other. I set a timer on my phone for 6:00. I figured we all would want to go home and get ready. Just two of us would be going home together.

~the next morning~

I woke to my alarm and I was in Dans arms. I looked at him and he smiled sleepily. I got up and turned off the alarm. Then I remembered. We couldn't go home. It wasn't just us sleeping out at the school. We were locked in. But it might have been the best thing. We tidied up as best we could. "You know, in gonna miss this." It was almost time for the janitor to come and open up the doors. "Yeah. Me too." Dan smiled. "We should make this a thing. Camping out in the school." I suggested. "Yeah. Maybe once a month." Brittany agreed. "I would like that." Phil smiled. The custodian came and unlocked the door. He looked very surprised to see four teenagers already in the school. We all put our arms around each other's wastes. "It's been great." Dan smiled with us. "See ya round." I said through a smile. We walked out of the school, arm in arm. Then we broke apart. Waving to each other. Except me and Dan. We walked together to his car. We took one last look at everyone and waved. This was the best time of my life. So far.
