After he said 'her' everything stopped. It was like time froze. The guards looked ready to grab me or my parents if we tried to run. David had an alluring smirk on his face. And my parents were on their knees. "Give us a little more time, please you can't take our daughter!" I didn't know what to say I just sat there dumbfounded.

"Are you trying to give me the orders here?"

His question seemed retorical as every noise in the room ceased it was like somebody had pressed a pause button once again.

My parents mouths sealed and their eyes widened in fear. Sweat poured down the forheads of the people who gave birth to me. My father quivered but they remained unmoving.

What will happen now?

Am I going to college?

Will I have to stay with him forever?

Why does he even want me?

The the mafia god, or whatever the fuck his name was, interrupted saying "I have given you enough time, now I have made my decision, regazza what is your name?" He demanded. His authorative aura gave me the indication that he was not the type to mess with.

My answer was weak and feeble immediately causing his smirk to enlarge "S..Saryah".

"Well Saryah go pack were leaving on the next five.. No four minutes". I almost melted on the couch. The way he said my name turned my knees to jelly. I managed to steady myself as I complied with his command. I couldn't process what just happened while I started packing. His guards guided me to his black sports car. As I was getting out the front door my parents just kept begging for him not to take me , and telling me how much they love me. I held back the tears I couldn't and wouldn't cry in front of him. I didn't want him to think I was weak.

He seated me in the front passenger's seated while he's started the car in the drivers seat and he asked me "how old are you?" "Eighteen" I answered abruptly, without meeting his gaze. "Not much of a talker I see." "Actually I just don't want to talk the the person who just took my from my parents and is driving me to the middle of nowhere!"I snapped. The rage that was searing through me was unable to be comprehended. I was usually a quiet person, but he just seemed to infuriate me.

After about an hour we pulled up into a huge furnished driveway in front of a colossal mansion. It was breathtaking. The grey stone pilled up perfectly on top of each other. Every single light was on which had me wondering if he cared about his electricity bill. Four chimneys stood tall and proud above a slanted roof. The pillars in the front were made from purely marble, what was it with marble these days?
