SEQUENCE TREATMENT
1 EXT OAK TREE DAY
Long shot of an oak tree, a few meters away from the tree there is a river with some fishes and many rocks.
Near the river are flowers that are scattered; yellow flag iris. On the other side of the river is pasture.
Under the tree, there is a man sitting. He is AREZOU. He is holding a picture; family picture. In the picture are his wife and daughter. He stares at it, and then he looks at the river. Fade to white.
2 FLASHBACK EXT OAK TREE DAY
AREZOU, CAPRICE and SARISHA were having a picnic under the oak tree. They were eating sandwich and drinking juice. Then they are chatting while their smiles are able to see.
They look at the river. They see the sedge of grey heron arriving at the river shore, and it is hunting for fishes. SARISHA stands up, claps her hand and giggles.
3 EXT OAK TREE DUSK
AREZOU looks at the sky. The blue sky fades and turns dark giving a shade of a bit purple, then the sky becomes orange and a bit violet that are blending.
He kneels and bows his head for a long while. Then he sits again.
A close up of his hands and his pocket. From the pocket he gets a picture; a picture of SARISHA.
4 FLASHBACK EXT OAK TREE DAY
Extreme long shot. The sky is cloudy and it is raining a little bit. There is a burial at the oak tree. There's AREZOU, with some of his relatives, there's a priest. They are all wearing black clothes, and they are all having black umbrellas. But CAPRICE is unseen on the place. Medium shot on AREZOU. He is crying. Fade to black.
PRIEST (OS)
"We are gathered here today, as you are all aware, to pay our last tributes and respects to the memory of our departed friend, SARISHA. Let us commend her to the mercy of God. We therefore commit her body to the ground; earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust; in the sure and hope of the Resurrection to eternal life."
5a FLASHBACK EXT HOUSE DAY
There's a birthday party. There are tables and chairs. AREZOU, CAPRICE and the birthday celebrant, SARISHA is there and some of their relatives and friends. They are playing games; there's eating, and laughing. All are having fun. It was a happy first birthday of SARISHA with balloons and gifts.
5b FLASHBACK EXT HOUSE DAY
SARISHA is playing outside the house. She is playing with a beach ball. Dolly shot on the ball. It rolls to the middle of the road, SARISHA goes and gets it.
Then there's a beeping sound. SARISHA looks side to side. There's a car losing its control.
AREZOU opens the door of house. He is in shock. The car hits SARISHA. SARISHA fells. Her head bumps to the ground.
