Bird's eye view. AREZOU crumples the family picture. He is crying while doing it.
7 FLASHBACK INT HOUSE DUSK
After the party, the guests are leaving. CAPRICE also does. She with her baggage leaves the house. She sees AREZOU, and gives him a kiss and goodbye.
8 EXT OAK TREE NIGHT
Dolly shot. AREZOU stands up, walks away from the tree. Face down.
9 EXT HOUSE NIGHT
Medium shot. AREZOU is standing and staring. Long shot at the house. Dolly shot as he walks to the front door. He opens it, goes in, and closes the door.
10 INT HOUSE NIGHT
AREZOU is at the garage. He opens the light. It is dim. He looks around; nothing can be seen but a car that looks like it's not use for years. He stares at his faded red car. He closes the light and walks out.
11 INT GROCERY STORE DUSK
AREZOU is seen to besitting on his chair at the counter of the grocery store where he works as a clerk. He is staring blankly. He is frowning. Close up shot on the wall clock. The hands of the time moves fast forwards. He leaves the store.
12 EXT OAK TREE NIGHT
AREZOU arrives at the oak tree. He sits under the tree. A medium shot of AREZOU; he closes his eyes, bows his head, sighs, and cries.
13a MONTAGE EXT OAK TREE DAY
Long shot on AREZOU. AREZOU is sitting under the tree. It is raining. He is soaking wet. His face is down, he closes his eyes.
13b MONTAGE EXT OAK TREE DAY
Medium close up on AREZOU. AREZOU opens his eyes, he looks above; flakes of snow falls. He looks around; he sees the oak tree without its leaves. From sitting, he lay down upon the snow. He sleeps.
13c MONTAGE EXT OAK TREE DAY
AREZOU is lying on the ground, he opens his eyes. He is looking at the tree, he is dazzle. He sees pair of tree squirrels that looks like they're talking. He sits and notices the yellow flag iris flowers that starting to bloom; he hears birds chirping. He shakes his head, places his hands on his face, and wipes his face and eyes.
13d MONTAGE EXT OAK TREE DAY
AREZOU looks above; the leaves are falling slowly one at a time. He stands up, and he walks away.
14 INT HOUSE DAY
Close up on the alarm clock. It rings. A hand reaches to turn it off.
AREZOU wakes up from sleeping. He sluggishly moves to stand up. Medium close up on AREZOU. He is in front of the mirror. He stares at himself.
AREZOU
"Hey. Hey man in the mirror. Look at you. You're fine. You are quite handsome, ha. You like that? So why do you look worrying? You're still there, I know. Alive! Free! Now go on and live a life!"
