"I'm sorry, sir. But, the cashier is right that way."
"Vanilla or chocolate?"
"E—excuse me?"
"Which of the two does Peridot prefers?"
"Oh, another one of her admirers."
"..."
"Knowing her... lemme think... Vanilla?"
"Which of the two do you want?"
"Me? Why me? You don't even know me."
"Just answer it, Sapphire."
"Oh... You do know me. However, I don't know who you are."
"..."
"Are you some kind of stalk—"
"No."
"Wow, that was fast. So, you are a stalker."
"I'm not, okay? Now, which do you prefer?"
"Chocolate."
"Good choice."
He places a plastic bag in front of Sapphire. She eyed the bag warily like it was some foreign object. Sapphire expected some snake or something to jump out of it and startle her.
"You do know that's harmless, right?"
A minute passed as she decided to open the harmless plastic bag. She left her mouth agape in awe.
"Choco... lates? Is this for free?"
"..."
"..."
"Actually, I'm planning to sell those. They're due tomorrow."
"How... unfortunate."
"... You know, they're on the house."
"Woah. Alright, cool... Just so you know, I'm not going to thank you for this, stalker."
"I know."
And with that, the unnamed stalker takes his dramatic exit from the shop leaving the girl with a confused look.
