Chapter 6: The Interview

My alarm went off, waking me up from my peaceful slumber. I check the time.

08:00

I have an hour to get ready and thirty minutes to grap a light breakfast on my way to the interview.

I slowly undress and walk to the bathroom. I choose the shower and when I'm done, I head to the mini closet and grap a tight-fit red dress with a slit at the back, ending about 15cm from my plump yet firm ass.

At the top, it shows just about enough cleavage and has spagetti straps that make a criss-cross on my back just above the bra-strap area.

I grap my make-up box and settle on a smokey eye that highlights the blue of my eyes.

After applying my scented lotion, I wear the dress that holds onto my body like a second layer of skin. I chose not to wear a bra and settled on a thin black lacey thong which isn't visible. Hence, it appears as if I have no underwear on and that could work in my favour.

I grap my nude red bottom heels and a nude knee length jacket that ends right where my dress ends.

I tied my hair up into a messy yet neat bun using black chopsticks.

Satisfied with my look, I take my nude handbag and head out.

09:05

The looks I got around me boosted my confidence.

I hailed a cab and decided on skipping breakfast.

"ANW Corporations." I tell the cab driver and he nods, joining the mainstream.

09:20

I get out the cab after paying the driver and I take in the beautiful glassy tower standing in front of me.

Deep breath.

Chest out.

Back straight.

Butt out.

Just like a confident woman should carry herself.

I strut to the building quickly and I walk in, taking in the beautiful lobby with a glittering chandelier.

I headed straight to the receptionist.

"Good day, how may I help you?" she asks, voice monotone like that of a robot.

"I'm here for an interview." I say.

"Who emailed you?" she asks, boredom written all over her face.

"Annabelle Moore I believe." I say, about to take out my phone to check.

"Get into the elevator and go to floor number 46." she says, pointing in the direction of the elevators.

I thank her and rush to the elevators.

"Hold!" a deep voice says and I hold the elevator.

"Thanks." the voice says once again.

I check the clock and its 09:25

I'll be late if I don't make it up in 5 minutes.

I don't bother looking at the owner of the voice and when the elevator dings at my stop, I get out and head to the receptionists on this floor.

"Good day, how many I help you?" she asks, looking at me expectantly.

"I'm here for an interview." I tell her.

"What's your name?" she asks, now facing her computer screen.

"Scarlett Dawn." I say.

"Okay, head in. Second door on your right." she says while pointing into one of the three corridors behind her.
