M I E R A

I think I'm used to calling Soonyoung Kwon.

"Miera, why're you playing with your phone? Aren't you suppose to be studying?" My mom entered my room, bringing a tray of cakes and tea.

"I'm taking a break." I lied. I haven't been studying today.

"Come join me." She said and sat down on the floor, placing the tray on the table.

"Sure..."

This means business.

"So Miera..."

"Allowance?" My mom held out her hand.

"Yeah..." I frowned.

"Here." I gave her my allowance.

"Your manager told me—"

"I'm sorry mom..."

"Sorry sorry sorry, that's all what you know what to say but you don't even do it. You're not even really sorry. You want a beating right?! That's what you want?!" My mom said pulling my hair.

"Aah mom!!!"

"That hurts mom, that hurts!!"

"STOP IT!" I screamed but my mom still continued to pull my hair and eventually, a tear dropped from my eyes.

"Maybe if you're bald you'll finally do your work better huh?" My mom said, pulling my hair stronger.

She finally let go and my cheeks was already really wet and my eyes was red.

"I just remembered that you need your hair to work." My mom chuckled and exited the room, laughing hysterically.

I can't stand it anymore. I just can't.

I left the house, eyes still red and my tears was still flowing out. My hair was messed up and all so I wore my hoodie.

"A-are you okey? What's wrong? Why're you crying?" Someone asked and I looked up to see a boy, a pretty cute one.

"I-it's none of your business." I said, looking away.

"Stop crying. It hurts to see you cry."

"You don't even know me so stop lying."

"I know. But I don't know why but... I feel hurt." He answered.

Why would he, a stranger that I'm 100% sure, oh wait 99.9% sure (just in case I really forgot him like If he's my 'baby' friend) that I don't know him.

"Here." He said.

What? Why did he say here? What did he want to give me?

My tears suddenly stopped as the boy hugged me tightly. But after sniffling one time, I sobbed.

"It's okay, cry all you want. It's better than holding it in." He said and I cried harder.

"Are you okay now?"

"Yeah, thanks." I said and we sipped our drinks. Yes, he took me to a café.

"Anyway, what's your name?" I asked.

"Hmmmm... just call me Kwon I guess." He said.

Kwon? Is it Soonyoung? Nah, there's like not only one kwon in the whole world, right?

"How about you?"

"I'm... Mina."
