Remember as a Promise

Why are we here today?
Remember, a rainbow as a promise
God's undying covenant to us
We are a promise remember
The vows our parents took part with
Us as fulfillment, so I swear.

A promise is a man's pride
One's word can be faked and lied
But promises are be-all and end-all
You'd say 'promises are meant to be broken? '
However, only fools break one's word
NOW REMEMBER, YOU ARE A PROMISE.
