Recap :-

My sister snapped her fingers at me and I jumped. "Hello? Earth to Mia! Are you listening?"

"Hello Miss. I'm Granger." A tall gangly fellow said while he thrust his had toward me.

I gazed at him for a while and then shook his hand. His very crusty hand.

"Are you a mechanic?" I queried.

"No. I'm a guitarist but I naturally have dry palms." He replied and chuckled.

"Okay okay, fancy meeting each other but we need to go now." Marielle hastened us into the car.

I still couldn't believe my sister forgot her dorm key in her room and made us sleep in Granger's car which smelt of wet socks. Ew! She couldn't get into her room and her phone's battery died so she couldn't call her roommate either. Even though I offered her a phone call she didn't memorise her roomate's number by heart. So we slept in the car until 6:45 am.

Now, I was extremely exhausted from yesterday's long flight, listening to my sister babble and then trying to sleep in that smelly old car. I literally crawled my way out of the car and popped my luggage out of the trunk. I rolled it to the entrance and then took a deep breath in. This is it! I chanted in my mind to prep myself for what I was about to get myself into.

Marielle pushed open the doors and I felt a chilling gust run through my body. I shivered.

"Yup. It's pretty cold in here." My sister said, "Don't worry, this is nothing compared to the Winter Season. They put on the heater but it still gets cold in some areas of the Academy."

"Hey! Don't look so worried! You'll be fine. Here, let me check in your luggage and you can go settle into the auditorium. That's where the orientation is."

"Sure thanks." I willingly entrusted her with my stuff and slowly crept away from the lounge and check in area. Along the way I saw lots of studios. Some were empty while some had a class in session. I stopped for a moment to peer into one of the classes.

"1 & 2 and 2 & 2 and step & glide... You're loosing elegance on that turn Izabelle. Pull up, Pull up! No no no. Start again! This time let's watch Skye and Connor!" The pianist replayed the piece and the couple glided into the centre and bowed into their start position - it was done almost as if they were performing.

Wow! They looked flawless. It felt like they had so much chemistry. I could have felt the passion in their pas de deux. Their leaps looked like they were floating on air and their pirouettes were in perfect unison.

Suddenly a cold hand wrapped around my shoulder. "Peeping huh?" I violently shook the arm off of my shoulders and as I opened my mouth to give him a piece of my mind; I got distracted. I spotted a guy in the distance wearing a black hoodie. He had taken a silver trophy out of the glass cabinet and slid it into his knapsack. Bloody thief! I thought to myself.

A door slammed open! "May I help you?" A lady with a Russian-like English accent inquired.

I scrambled for words as I was caught off guard. "Uh ... No no, I was just leaving." I headed in the direction of the mysterious guy but I was then stopped by the teacher again.

"Eh hem! I do believe the auditorium is that way." She said while pointing in the opposite direction.

I reluctantly walked into the room and out of her sight.
