Chapter 2

Nathan P.O.V

I can't believe what just happend. I can't be mated to an omega. I'm an alpha.

I looked back at her.

I could hear her sniffling as she cried. I felt bad.

She's pretty.. beautiful. And she smells amazing. And don't get me started on her body- the things I would do to her.. She's perfect.

I had to find out about her.

"So you're telling me that she's friends with Lilianna? The beta's daughter?"

"Yep. Other than that she's a nobody. A hot one too. What I'd do to her.." Luke trailed off making sex motions.

"Stop it," I growled.

"Well then, damn. Have you found your mate yet?"

I looked down. I hadn't told anyone. Not even my best friend/beta. I couldn't lie to him either.

"This cafeteria food is nasty. Lets go to Mc Donald's." I got up and headed to the parking lot.

"Red light!" Luke panicked in the passenger seat beside me.

"Don't get your panties in a wad." I drove right past the red light.

"So why'd you want info about Reina?" Luke stared out the window.

"Just cause.." I avoided his question.

"Cause what?" Luke pried. "Wait- Dont tell me! Reina's yo--"

"My mate!" I yelled.

The rest of the ride was quiet.

I finally parked in the Mc Donald's parking lot.

"Lets go in." I turned off the engine, got out, and locked the car.

Reina P.O.V

Lilianna put the tray down in front of me. 2 cheeseburgers, 3 large fries, 1 oreo mc flurry, and a hot fudge sundae... just for me. Lilianna had as much food as me too.

"Go ahead." Lilianna gave me a comforting smile. "So what happened babygirl." She dipped a french fry into her chocolate milkshake.

I looked down at my food.

"He.." I started, my voice shaky, "he rejected me." I took a bite out of my burger.

"Really?!" Lilianna's eyes widened in shock. "Who was it?" She leaned in waiting for the details.

"..Nathan." A tear rolled down my cheek.

"Wait- Bradshaw?!" She gaped at me.

I nodded slowly. I look up at her to see her expression but she had an angered look on her face.

She stared at something.. or someone.. behind me.

I turn around and I see the person I hate most.

And love most...

"Lets go." I stand up and leave my uneaten food.

"Okay. But I really have to pee. Be right back." She left me alone at the table.

"Can I help you finish that?"

I already knew who it was by his scent. I wiped my tears hastily and looked away.

"Well, look who's here. Everyone's favorite jackass." I ate some fries while I silently cursed him out in my head.

"Ouch." He sat down beside me with a smug look on his face.
