Nathan P.O.V

I woke up to Reina, thrashing wildly, whimpering, and crying in her sleep.

”Reina! Reina!” I sat up, ignoring the slight pain in my torso.

I held her body close to mine, letting my warmth surround her cold body. She was still crying, but was now awake.

”Nathan,” she breathed, her voice breaking. ”Nathan!” She pressed herself into my chest, her back facing me. She was sitting in the middle of my legs, which were criss-crossed indian style on the bed. I wrapped my arms around her and buried my face into her hair. I took a long sniff, which relaxed me.

”You were dead! You left me alone!” Reina continued between sobs. She had her face in her hands, her body shaking badly.

”Reina, look. Look at me.” I turned her body toward mine, and she criss-crossed her legs around my torso and hugged me. ”I will never, ever, leave you alone again.” I took her face in my hands so I could see her face.

Her eyes searched my face, looking for any sign of dishonesty, but when she found none, her body and facial expression relaxed. I ran my thumb over her cheek, to catch a stray tear.

We eventually layed down again, her pressed up against my body, and me with my arms wrapped around her. And my face buried in her hair.

I heard her soft snores begin, and I stayed awake a little longer, making sure she was okay and didn't have a nightmare again.

I eventually drifted off to sleep too, feeling guilty.

Reina's P.O.V

I woke up in the morning, wrapped up in Nathan's embrace.

I layed there so I wouldn't wake him up.

My thoughts wandered to earlier in the morning. When I had the bad dream.

It was about Nathan, I cringed, dying.

I don't remember anything when I woke up though. It was one big blur.

I sucked in a breath but choked. On air.

Leave me alone.

I had a coughing fit, which woke up Nathan.

”Shh,” He hissed and tugged me a bit closer.

I couldn't stop coughing though.

After another 30 seconds of violently coughing, Nathan sat up.

He patted my back, and I recovered.

”Thank you.” I hugged a grumpy Nathan.

”Mmph.” He returned the hug.

”So how'd you sleep?”

”It was okay.” He slumped down onto the pillow again.

”What do you mean?” I panicked internally, thinking my body isn't comfortable.

”You,” he hesitated, ”snore.”

My shoulders relaxed and I blushed fiercely.

”No I don't!” I slapped his shoulder.

”Yeah,” he sat up again, ”you sorta do!” He began to tickle me.

”Stop!” Tears streamed down my face. ”I hate you,” I laughed, ”I can't breathe!”

And then.

I SNORTED.

I FRICKING SNORTED.
