Zara watched through her peripheral vision as Albert ordered a beer from the bartender. She took note of the way the bartender blushed as he spoke to her, and the way she angled her body closer towards him. Zara could totally see the colour of her bra from where she sat.

"She is totally throwing herself at him!" Zara remarked.

"Who wouldn't? He's totally hot! I'd love to fuck him too 'cos I'm a straight woman that also has sexual urges!" Claudine sipped her vodka as Zara shook her head then continued, "Don't blame me,blame my vagina and hormones! They're the ones doing all the work here.

Zara rolled her eyes at Claudine's comment. Sparing a glance towards Albert she saw that he was still entertaining the bartender's flirty advances. "Let's just try to get his attention now before he goes to sit with his friend. You can drool over him later".

Claudine pouted and rolled her eyes."You're no fun, Zar!" But she still nodded her head in agreement to Zara's comment.

"I can't believe that asshole dumped you for that bitch!" Claudine began, talking loud enough so Albert would hear them."After like 3 years of being in a relationship, he did that to you? she asked incredulously.

Zara snuck a glance at Albert and noticed that he had stopped focusing on the bartender and now angled his head towards their direction.

"Good" she thought.

"I did everything I could for him. I thought he was going to ask me to marry him when he told me to come meet him at the place we first met." Zara laughed bitterly as tears pooled in her eyes and flowed down her cheeks.

"Thank God for waterproof mascara" she thought.

"I didn't know he planned on dumping me and telling me he had found his one true love! And it also happened to be that obnoxious bitch- Kayla!" she finished angrily.

Claudine watched as Albert's friend came over to meet him at the bar. She watched smugly as they did their weird bro-hug and as Albert motioned to his friend to keep quiet so that he could hear what they were saying.

She schooled her features to resemble that of sympathy. "Oh, Lori....that bastard didn't deserve you anyway. And you shouldn't still be hung over that cheating motherfucker. He's a slimy bastard. Good riddance!"

"I know Lyssa, I'm not hung up on him in any way. I'm just mad at myself for not seeing him for who he really was. I should have known that a cheating, lying fucker like him would never change.
