He watched the moon and cursed it for being there while he felt like screaming out his lungs

He cursed the stars for sparkling so bright while his soul seemed to be fading away

He cursed the land around him for being at peace while his heart was at war

He cursed the people around him for going on with their lives while he stood alone

Looking down into what looked like an endless abyss

The darkness seemed to stretch on forever just like his hatred for the city he had grown up in

It was calling him, beckoning towards that treacherous fall

That fall that would bring him eternal peace and joy

So he jumped and let himself be carried down

To the bottom where shadows seemed to have gathered and soft darkness waited for him to land.
