Hurricane (WIP)

Blank face,
Dull eyes
Nobody can tell
What's going on inside

Ripped words
And hiding her arms
Nobody can tell
That she suffers through self harm

Smiles, laughter, jokes
All of them, she was fake
Nobody could tell
That she was drowning in her lake

Glass shards, she was so fragile
Only hiding her true self deep within shadows
Tears rolling down her face
Her mind swirling like a hurricane

"Echo? Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"Are you sure? It's been so dull without you."
"Just leave me alone."

People ask if she's alright,
She says yes, but deep inside battles her own fight
Blank face, head down, everything in her head is black as night
Nobody could tell that she may never again see the light
