First try was already rough

The others are telling me to move on,
But I can't due to our ceased bond,
Months later, I start hearing a yelp,
That sounds like my father calling for help...
I know that it may be hard to believe,
With what I'm about to say,
I heard a voice in my head that said,
"I finally see the way..."
