Author's Note: My first Braeden imagine and I can't believe how sweet it turned out to be. Maybe I'll do a part 2, but only if it is requested. Remember you can request anything you'd like, and I'll gladly do it.

The morning was early yet, outside was still dark. Saturday mornings always felt eternal for her. She coughed many times and tried to reach the extra blanket that stayed on the other side of the room. She stood up, and once she got it, she wrapped herself in it. In slow steps, she walks back to bed. She coughs again, feeling her throat itching. Once she's back again in bed, wrapped in 4 blankets, she falls back asleep.

Since she was little, she had a lot of nightmares every time she was sick. Some of them weren't too bad, but she mostly woke up with her own thoughts consuming her. Mom blamed the medicine. She said some medicaments have that secondary effect on you. Y/n never believed it. On her normal life, she had the usual dreams. The ones you just don't remember in the morning. But when she had nightmares, she knew her body was shaking, and her throat would hurt badly in the morning.

Beep-beep. Beep-beep. She turned around to grab her phone and see if it was true it was him, or if it was her mom with some chicken soup on her way. Y/n lived with her sister. She moved out with her because her house was closer to school. She spent holidays with her parents but she stayed with her sister. Most of the time, her sister was traveling and working away from there, that's why Y/n had a bunch of time alone and that was why she spent even more time out with Braeden.

Beep-Beep. Beep-beep. Y/n heard her phone, but she mumbled and ignored it. She had to think something to tell Braeden.

"Hey, babe. I'll be with you at 9." She sat on the edge of the bed, still wrapped on her blankets and answered. "Sorry brae, I'm sick. I'll see you on Monday at school."

She didn't mean to sound harsh or anything. She just felt extremely tired to get him to see her like this. They had been dating for some months now, he was such a dream. But even when she loved him so much, she felt embarrassed he saw her completely sick and weak.

She saw the time on her phone. 7:43. She should be about to get in the shower after watching TV for an hour. Then, she would wear a cute dress for having breakfast with Brae, Cole, and Dylan. After that, they would take her to their rehearsal until Braeden decided to spend some time with her and ended making out on someone else's couch. Cole would interrupt and say some bad jokes about them. Then Braeden would take her home, and they would stay talking until it was really late. Maybe he'd stay to sleep, maybe he'd leave. Seh loved spending Saturdays with him.

She coughed again, twice. She laid in bed again. Once she got in the right position, she fell back asleep. Again in her nightmares, again alone.

When she woke up again, she heard some noises downstairs. She turned around to look for her phone. 10:24. She coughed again and tried to look for her mother message where she tells her she had arrived but she couldn't find any. So she stood up, grabbed a blanket, and went downstairs.

From the stairs, you could smell bacon, and something sweet. Maybe hotcakes, but she couldn't differentiate if they were or not. Some plastic bags were left in the living room.

"Mom?" She asked but instead of seeing her mom, she saw a smiling Breaden wearing an apron getting out of the kitchen with two plates of hotcakes.

"Hey, babe." He smiled, left the plates on the table and came close to kiss her forehead. "I saw your text. And I thought that maybe I could give you a surprise? I called your mom and told her my plan and she helped a lot. She gave me the chicken soup, which we are having for later and she told me how to take care of you." He grabbed one of the plastic bags. "Here she gave me your medicines, and what you can swallow to ease the throat ache." He then grabbed one of the bottles inside. "Like the cough syrup that you need to take every 8 hours." He smiled and then grabbed another bag. "Oh, and I also bought some candies and chips so we can watch Netflix later."

"You really did all that in like 2 hours?" She smiled too and got closer to him.

"Yeah, I just wanted to make you feel better. And also spend our Saturdays together." He kissed her forehead again wrapping her in a hug this time. "Oh, I almost forgot it" He turned around and grabbed something out of a paper bag. "I bought you a book. I thought that maybe at night you'd like to read."

"Braeden, do you have any idea how much I love you?" She asked him and hugged him again.

"You are the one who has no idea how much I love you." He smiled and hugged her tighter. "We should eat the breakfast now, otherwise you can't take your medicine."

"And you cooked for me too?"

"You deserve it. Now sit here while I bring the maple syrup, okay?"
