.I think he's talented.
"I'm going to be performing in my school's talent show."
I look up from the Galaxy drawing practice I'm currently busying myself with, impressed. I look at the boy softly strumming his guitar to random tunes. "Really? What're you gonna be doing?"
He shrugs, brushing his bangs from his beautiful eyes. "Nothing good. I'm just gonna play the guitar."
I nod, smiling. "Well, what're you playing?"
He shrugs again, masking his excitement with anxiety. "Pork Soda. None of the kids will like it. "
I sit up straighter, raising my eyebrows. "Hey, they're gonna love it. And that's awesome! By Glass Animals?"
He nods, not saying much else.
I bite my inner lip, staring at him. "Could you play for me?"
He blushes, nodding. I grin cheekily, loving when I hear him play.
Looking down at the neck of his guitar, he starts playing. I just stay silent, nodding my head and smiling peacefully.
His voice is loud, nasally, and kind of annoying. But I still love it because it's him, and anything that brings him joy will make me happy.
"Somewhere in South end when you were fun..."
