Chapter nine: The kids 🎂

You stand on the stage preparing to sing Count on me by Bruno Mars for the kids, to get them prepared for the karaoke.

"

If you ever find yourself stuck in the middle of the sea, I'll sail the world to find you. If you ever find yourself lost in the dark and you can't see, I'll be the light to guide you."
You smile at the sea of children and then continue, "Find out what we're made of when we are called to help our friends in need!♥ You can count on me like one, two, three, I'll be there"
Some kids joined in, "and I know when I need it, I can count on you like four, three, two, you'll be there! Cause that's what friends are supposed to do aw yeah ooooo ooooo ooooo yeah yeah "
Even more kids were singing now, "If you're tossing and turning and you just can't fall asleep, I'll sing a song beside you♥. And if you forget how much you mean to me, every day I will remind you♥."
You think of the one person you trust with all of your heart but also sneak a glance at Lefty. "Find out what we're made of when we are called to help our friends in need. You can count on me like one, two, three, I'll be there! And I know when I need it I can count on you like four, three, two, you'll be there. Cause that's what friends are supposed to do aw yeah ooooo ooooo yeah yeah.
By now the whole sea of children was singing along... except for one. A young boy, with a blue and black checkered hoodie, the hood down, a short brown haircut, named James. "You'll always have my shoulder when you cry. I'll never let go, never say good bye. You can count on me like one, two, three, I'll be there. And I know when I need it I can count on you like four, three, two, you'll be there. Cause that's what friends are supposed to do aw yeah ooooo ooooo... Count on me cause I can count on you.♥"
You search the crowd to find James but he seemed to have disappeared, you had a strong sense of déjà vu when you saw him in the sea of kids. "Who would like to pick our first song?" Almost all the children wanted to. You pointed at sleek, young girl with blonde hair and bright green eyes with a smiling face to with them by the name of Daphne. "Why don't you come up to the stage and pick a song?" You smile at which who you guessed was a 7 year old girl. Her face brightened as your sweet voice rang out in the crowd. She ran through the crowd of which was all pretty jealous. She jumped onto the stage and said "Thousand years by Cristina Perri" You gasp silently, remembering the first time you sang that song.

The music starts within a few seconds and the lyrics run through your mind. Without any control words spewed out of your mouth like water in a waterfall. "Heart beats fast, colors and promises. How to be brave. How can I love when I'm afraid to fall but watching you stand alone." You looked at Lefty standing on his stage performing, alone. "All of my doubt suddenly goes away, somehow. One step closer. I have died everyday waiting for you. Darling don't be afraid I have loved you for a thousand years and I'll love you for a thousand more."
One more time you search through the audience for James he had some sort of answer to why you can't remember anything about your old place, or anything before it, exept sad memories, or Puppet trying to cheer you up. "Time stands still beauty in all she is. I will be brave. I will not let anything take away what's standing infront of me."
You pick up Daphne and swing her around before setting her down you continued. "Every breath. Every hour. Has come to this."
You set the small girl down and bop her nose, she giggles. You were often like this playing with the children while singing. It makes the experience more magical. "One step closer. I have died every day waiting for you. Darling dont be afraid. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more. And all along I believed I would find you. Time has brought heart to me. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more...
"One step closer. One step closer. I have died everyday waiting for you. Darling dont be afraid I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thosand more..." I continued singing but my mind began to wander back to the past.

(A/n) OH MY GOSHHHHH!!!!! I'm SOOOO SSOOOORRRY! I say I'm still alive an then dissapear for a very long time. Sorry. I got writers block and started to slip out of the fandom. BUT I will not discontinue this book. I started this and I'm going to finish it. Now time to work on the next chapter. See ya later readers~
