I took a deep breath in then letting a lard exhale out. It's my first day going to S.H Academy, No pressure right? I made my way into the academy absolutely stunned by all the décor. There were students everywhere just being happy and equal, No violence. Just how it should be, I hope. I walked towards my homeroom which was very hard to navigate, The map the school sent me didn't make sense. Eventually I made it to room C-103, or my homeroom. I walked inside to see most of the class staring at me, and whispering while they took glances at me. Almost as they were analyzing me.
"Oh! You must be our new student here. Hello, My name is Miss, Als. Please introduce yourself."
'That was pretty quick' I thought to myself with an uncomfortable expression. I snapped out of my thoughts turning to the class with a small smile.
"Hello, M-My name is Runa Carina. Nice to meet yo-" I was cut off before I could even finish my intro.
"So, What's your power?" A random girl with the brightest blue eyes says to me.
I froze for a couple of seconds thinking what I should do. 'What will they think of me?' Will they think I'm weird? freaky? scary?'
"OK! Miss Crest, You don't need to pressure anything on our new student, Runa please take a seat at the back next the Elle. She's the brunette with the blue shirt." Miss Als said pointing to the back of the classroom. I took my seat next to Elle setting my bag under my desk letting out a sigh of relief. "OK students I'll be right back I need to pick up a few papers for my other class, Please behave." Miss Als said walking out the classroom, closing the door gently.
Right as Miss Als walked out the class started talking, It was nice like a normal highschool.
"SO, My name is Elle nice to meet you. You're Runa right? It's so nice to meet you!" Elle says with a big bright smile.
"Oh, Hello It's very nice to meet you as well." I said giving her a smile.
"So, You wanna tell me your power? OH! I'll go first I can Manipulate water, I can even turn it into ice!" Elle said with a exited tone. Elle pointed her hand towards a water bottle on her desk, And as the moved her hand up the water started following her hand movements. She then relaxed her hand letting the water fall back into her water bottle. "Wow- That's pretty good" I say with a chuckle still being amazed by her abilities.
"Thank you so much! So what about you?" Elle says leaning in towards me.
"Uh-"
"Oh wow, Guys I don't think she even has one. She's probably a nothing." A random girl says walking towards me and Elle. It was the same girl who interrupted my introduction. "That isn't true I do have powers I'm just not comfortable with sharing it with everyone." I said with a nervous tone. "HA! Oh please, Don't give us that BS just tell us your don't have to show anything" She said crossing her arms with a small smirk on her face. 'Whats Up with this girl?' I thought to myself. I have a feeling that she is one of the mean girls? She suits it very well. "HELLO? Speak English" She said starting to laugh, then the whole class starting to laugh along with her.
I clenched my fist under the table looking up at her, then I stood up and looked at her in the eyes. Suddenly a random boy touched my shoulder, I looked to my side to see a boy with dark black hair, freckles along his face, and the prettiest hazel eyes. "Amy, Leave her alone if she doesn't want to say her power then she doesn't have to. Now buzz off" He said taking his hand off my shoulder. "Oh wow Rowan, Getting all touchy with the new girl huh? Not a surprise there." Amy said with a despicable chuckle. Rowan rolled his eyes and just sat back in his seat next to me, as did I letting out a deep breathe. Amy walked away and sat back in her seat with a smirk on her face.
I turned to Rowan with a thankful expression on. "Thank you for that, I almost Lost my cool." I say with a smile. "Yeah I know" Rowan said letting out a chuckle. "Wait what?" I say with a confused expression. "Mind reading, One trait I have" Rowan said leaning back in his chair. "OH! So you can read any ones mind?" I say with a fascinated expression and tone. "Yeah, Only when I'm very focused, Sometimes it's only an accident." Rowan said sliding his wrist out his baggy hoodie revealing a black watch. "This thing detects when I'm mind reading during a test or quiz, It'll shock me if I'm caught doing it on purpose or accident, I can't blame them though." Rowan says shrugging after his sentence. "Oh, I'm sorry about that" I say leaning back in my chair with a straight posture. "Nah don't worry about it, What you DO need o worry about is Amy. She is a Mega Bitch trust me" Rowan says glancing towards her. "Yeah I kind of noticed once I walked in the class room." I say letting out a small chuckle. "She is one of the Special A's" Rowan says rolling her eyes. "What's a 'Special A'?" I said with a confused expression. "It's pretty much someone with 2 abilities, Amy just HAS to find all Special A's and get them to join her little group" Elle said to my left tapping my shoulder.
"OK STUDENTS! Head to your next class please, It took me way to long to find the storage room." Miss Als said bursting into the classroom.
Most of the students rushed out me also being one of them, Accidently I tripped over my shoelace touching some ones shoulder. 'Shit, 3 people' I could feel myself falling to floor hitting my head.
I slowly opened my eyes to see a nurse hovering over my motionless body. "Wh-Where am I?" I say with a raspy voice. The nurse sighed sitting on the side of the bed I was laying on. "Runa Carina, Your power is too dangerous for any school, You need to remember to tie shoes! No small mistakes can be caused for something so dangerous!"
