The bright sunlight was what woke me up. Sunlight flooded in from my window, and I groaned. Reaching over, I pulled the curtains closed, before seeing my phone and books in the floor. Grabbing the phone, I looked at the time.

6:32 am.

I didn't wake up late, that's and relief. Scrolling through the notifications, I furrowed my eyebrows at a message from a certain someone.

"Hey, it's Denis. You fell asleep last night, so I left. Well, I put my number in my phone and then left, but you know. Feel free to call me when yoy wake up. Btw, you're adorable when you sleep. Bye! -Denis."

I nearly choked on air at his last sentence. Did he seriously write that? He sure is trying his hardest to get me. Not going to happen though. I typed a message back.

"Well now that's an interesting message to wake up too. I guess being able to message you will make it easier on assignments."

Quickly replying to him, I stood up, glancing around. I really didn't feel up to going to school today. I still had a small headache, but my mom would make me go anyway.

Setting my phone down on the dresser, I went to go get some clothes for today. I grabbed a black tank top, black skinny jeans and a dark grey jacket. I also grabbed my purple beanie, and black converse.

Going back to my phone, I got a new reply from Denis.

"Morning. That is true, one of the reasons I decided to do this."

One of the reasons? What other reasons are there? Brushing that off, I replied.

"Interesting. Well, I'm heading to school now. See you in a few minutes."

I replied, before grabbing my bag and heading to the kitchen, being greeted by my mom.

"Good morning, sweetie." She smiled, looking up from her breakfast she was eating.

"Hey." I murmured, still tired.

-----Timeskip to School With Denis 🖤

I walked through the hallway, crowded with other kids, keeping my head down. It was so loud, and not helping my head.

I moved into the classroom, seeing Denis there before me. He looked over at me, smiling. I returned the smile, walking over.

As soon as I sat down, I rested my head on my hands. Denis raised an eyebrow, before asking, "Are you okay?"

I nodded my head. "Yeah, headache." He chuckled and nodded.

"Those can be a huge ass sometimes." He commented. I laughed, leaning down and grabbing my books from my bag.

-------Timeskip to lunch 🖤

Denis decided to sit with me during lunch to give me notes about last night. Of course, Angel kept sending us looks, but I couldn't understand them.

"But yeah, that's basically what I got last night." He finished, reaching over and grabbing his sandwich.

I finished copying down the last of his notes. Sighing, I put my pencil down. There wasn't really anything to do. Looking around the lunchroom, I saw Ben at his table.

We have been friends for a while, and I honestly liked him. Ben was nice, and really fun. I smiled a little, turning to Angel. "Did you ask him yet?" I questioned her.

Yesterday, at lunch, I told Angel to ask Ben if he liked anyone. "I did, and he says there is someone he's going to ask out today." She answered, smiling a little.

Denis interrupted, "Ask him what?" He choked on his milk, putting it down and looking at us. Angel gave him a sad smile. "She likes Ben, so she made me ask him if there's anyone he likes." Denis' eyes widened, and he frowned.

"That's not a good idea, Emily." He told me, looking past my shoulder at Ben.

"Why not? He isn't an asshole or a player." I replied, crossing my arms. He let out a sigh, starting to say something before being cut off by a new voice.

"Emily, can I talk to you?"
