His Secret Girlfriend

Part 4

I really messed up.. I couldn't even concentrate on my guitar. This was worse than hell. How can I say that to her? Even now, all I feel for her is love. And no doubt, I may be a bit bothered by her seriousness but I just can't help but be in love with her.

Even the thought of not being with her scared me. I should apologize.

" Mr.Maheshwari, is there something's that bothering you?"
I snapped out of my thoughts and looked over at the man sitting before me,with my documents.

" Umm.. No.. Nothing's wrong. " I faked a smile and went back to tugging the strings of the guitar.

Should I talk to Aastha. Nope.. Not happening. I can't believe I cringed when her thought came to my mind. No Aastha.... Only Ragini.

" Sir, I need to leave. I'm not feeling like having a practice today. " I said packing up. The man nodded and returned my documents back.

I sighed thinking about ways to apologize to her.

I reached my penthouse but no one came up-to greet me as usual. There was complete silence. Ragini? Umm.. Maybe she was asleep.

I loosened my tie and went inside. Our room's door was opened and no one was in sight.

"Ragini? " I called out but no one answered. That's when I noticed that our closet was opened. I went up-to it only to find my belongings. What?

I looked over at the dressing table and not even a single thing that belonged to her was there.

God! Did she leave? No.. No it can't be. My breathing raced and all I knew was I'd started panicking.

I pulled out my phone and dialled her number. Damn it Ragu! Pick up the phone.

It kept ringing and someone picked it up.
" Hello? " it was a male voice. Raghav?

Raghav: Hello, Laksh?
Laksh: Hello.. Umm, is Ragini there?
Raghav : Yeah, she is.

I sighed in relief. At least she was okay.

Laksh: ..
Raghav: Anything wrong Laksh?  Did you have a fight or something? She came running over here crying. Nothing happened right?

I sighed. She was crying. God! I hate myself so much right now.

Laksh: Umm.. It was just a small fight.

Raghav: Laksh.. Look,  I believe that I've given my princess away in right hands. I believe you. I don't want you to hurt her.

I closed my eyes at that. He was a really sweet guy and he believed me to give away his sister and I hurt her.

Raghav: Laksh... You do know why I agreed to your relationship, right? She was getting a life unlike me. And I want her to be happy.

Laksh: I know and I'm sorry, I just want to talk to her.

Raghav: Umm.. Okay hold on.

I heard some voice behind the line and then I heard her voice.

Ragini:  Laksh?
Laksh: Ragini, why'd you leave? I'm sorry for whatever I said. Please, come back.

Ragini: I can't.
