Walking at a reasonable pace, for a human, I wait for her to follow me like the old days, where humans bowed to us. I used my vessel's name to fit in.
She finally caught up to me and satrted talking about her life: her family, hopes and dreams and why she defended the boy. I was just getting caught in the conversation when the floor started to tremble, gently at first but slowly got more intense until a blinding, blue, ethereal light descended from the heavens and hovered in front of us.
I recognised the light as my friend and brother, Joshua. The light flew off into the distance and a few minutes later a teenage boy of average height with blue eyes and short brown hair appeared with the small sound of flapping wings. " Herro brother." He said in a small and timid voice.
"It's 'hello' Joshua." I corrected my younger brother.
"What happened? Who is this? What's going on?" Amancia asked in a steadily increasing worried tone.
"Shhhh." I replied as put the index and middle fingers of my right hand to the middle of her forehead ,which was creased with worry lines, and used my power to put her to sleep and wiped her memory of this event.
"So what is wrong brother?" I enquired.
