"These stupid lights take so damn long to change! We'll be freaking 30 years old by the time they change to green." My sister, Lily, told me as I sat patiently waiting in the driver's seat of my 2010 Audi A4, staring at the lights.

"Oh shut up Lily, you always exaggerate way to much." I giggled.

Lily is my twin sister, there may not be many physical differences between us with the whole identical thing, but there are a lot personality wise. She is popular, the head cheerleader, and her boyfriend is the captain of the football and basketball team. Lily is an extrovert done to her very core, yet I on the other am the exact opposite, an introvert. I am socially awkward and a complete outcast. I have a total of zero friends, the only way I am seen is as the image of what would happen to Lily if she wasn't popular and didn't have her perfect tan.

One of the good things about being the unpopular sister is that I'm the only one with the car. Not that I use it much, besides coming and going from school, and giving Lily rides to parties and stuff. But to he honest, I love it.

I love being the only one with the car because it means Lil has to suck up to me anytime she wants a ride. Of course she doesn't really have to since I give her rides even if I'm mad at her. But I'm not about to admit that to her! That would mean the end of her bribery, which is usually my favorite ice cream, Pistachio, and that's just too good to give up. I like sweets way too much, the good thing is I like to run or else I'd be as big as a mini van by now and my new nickname would be Chris Griffin!

Although that has to be the biggest plus side, I also love it because it's one of the only things that I have that she doesn't. I know that kind of makes me sound selfish but it makes me feel needed.

My whole life I was never needed, my parents both being doctors, were never home, so we always had nannies. I never had chores or work to do because our maid Lucy said we were little princesses who shouldn't have to lift a finger. I know most people would say I was lucky but when you start feeling useless, you start needing something in your life besides material things. Nevertheless that also means I have to waste money on gas, seeing as her popular butt doesn't get any money from mom or dad; for the same reason that they don't lend her a car, since she's irresponsible and has a horrible tendency to waste money as if it was unlimited.

Unfortunately that means I have the credit card as well, which goes without saying that anytime she wants to go shopping I have to go with her. I don't mind since I usually get ditched as soon as she meets up with Nicole and Michelle.

Nicole and Michelle were the side kicks of the last queen bee of the school, but when she left off for college, the new queen became exactly who you think it is, Lily. With me being the school's outcast, or by their standards: the biggest loser, and Lily being who she is, my bullying was done to a minimum. In movies the popular girl does the bullying, thankfully Lily does the opposite, she protects me as much as possible, well when she's around that is.

When I do happen to be alone, which happens more often then not, everyone either bullies me or ignores me completely. At the very least she does her part as a sister.

"Go Annique, it's on green." She blurted out, turning her body towards me on the cold leather seat.

"Huh? Oh, sorry." I mumbled.

" Annique I need to ask you for a favor."

" What is it?" I asked suspiciously.

"Well as you know, today is the first day back from Christmas vacation and it also happens to be Michael's back to school party."

Michael was Lily's boyfriend, a total cliché if you ask me, with him being the number one jock of the school. The good thing was he wasn't a jerk like most jocks; I know that sounds like I'm being a stereo type, except that in my school it just so happens that the jocks are truly jerks. Michael was actually a sweetheart, I could really tell he loved my sister, he was like a second skin to her.
