City lights lit the night as we lay on top of the hill, staring at the stars that were scattered in the sky. We looked at each other lovingly when he whispered,
Tears pooled in my eyes as I prayed. "Please help him... I need him as much as people do. Don't let him die, he still has dreams to achieve! Please, I beg you. Let him live..."
"In this lifetime and the next,
I prayed and prayed. "Please... please.."
I'll find you through the stars,
My eyes widened as I heard the sound I never want to hear.

More nurses rushed inside. I struggled to get away from his mother's grip.

I immediately stopped when I saw it. A never ending green line on the monitor.
And shower you with all the love you deserve.
A tear fell as I saw one of the nurses look at his watch as another wrote something.

Another tear fell as I realized that the doctor isn't doing anything anymore as he looked down in grief.
We'll chase our dreams,
I took a few steps back as everything went into realization.
His mother sobbed as the doctor said something to her. She glanced at me with that sorrowful look. She shook her head as tears fell from her eyes.

I watched in horror as I saw blood escaping from his lips, choking out words.
"I-I'm sorry.. but starting n-now, I'll be one of those stars wat-watching you from above.. I-I love y-you..." his hand went limp as he lost his conciousness, blood soaking through our clothes as I clung on to him while I cried.
