Apollo's POV:

Darkness.

That's the last thing I saw after Cleo could sank her vampire teeth to my throat.

Hiss.

That was the last sound I did. The pain was too uncontrollable, but I couldn't scream.

'I love you. Don't forget it.'

That was the last thing I heard from the most important person in my life. Cleo, the Goddess of Death and Half-Vampire, in love with me? I couldn't believe it. Once this transformation is over she and I were going to have a serious talk.

I still had my eyes closed. I couldn't feel my heart beat or my body move. I felt pratically dead. The only thing I could do was hear my Olympian Family's pleading for me to wake up. I really wanted to answer their prayings, but that wasn't going to happen until I'm fully transformed. I had to do this for her. Because I wasn't going to let her join Joan's evil coven of newborns.

I was doing this, because I love Cleo.

I would give my life for her. I don't even care if she's the Mistress of Death. She was mine, and I was hers.

My thoughts were interrupted when I felt voices surrounding the room.

"He's changing!" Said a husky-fucked up man voice. I knew it was Ares' because he always talked in that mode. He was right, thought. I felt a strange changing in my body. My bones are even more stronger, my heart felt cold and my muscles went even more stronger.

"His skin is getting paler every time when he's changing." Said another female voice with a british accent. That was Athena's. Suddenly, I feel a cold hand surround mines. That had to be Cleo.

"He's getting cold." She mused. She surrounded her other cold hand in my left cheek. I could feel my body moving again and my head twitch. I felt my skin cold as ice and my throat itching.

Great, hunger-blood.

I open my eyes to meet other red eyes.

Cleo's POV

My heart beated faster when he opened his eyes. They were now dark milky red like mines. His skin was a little paler, but his tan didn't wore off. I smile slightly at him.

"Morning, Mister Sunshine." I said playfully. "How you're feeling?"

He smiled back at me. "Better than a horse, I guess." He chuckled.

"Apollo, brother!" Athena said in relief as he was about to hug him, but Ares pulled her left arm and stood her beside him.

"Athena!" He hissed. I rolled my eyes.

"Ares, Apollo is in a controlled state. Man the fuck up!" I snarled as I glare at him.

"Cleo is right, Ares. Besides, why would you want me to keep my distance from Apollo? Helloooo, we're rivals!" Athena added as she scowled at him. Ares didn't answer, but scoffed. Athena sighed. "We'll talk about this alone."

...Okay, that last phrase didn't sound good.

I turn to see Apollo, who sat in the corner of my bed. I decided to rush to my bathroom in my vampiric speed and pick up a large hand mirror from the vanity. I dashed back to my room and gave the mirror to Apollo. When he saw his reflection, he wide eyed in awe. Athena and Ares stared at him.

"Hey, Apollo, how you were attacked by that newborn?" Athena asked suspiciously. I gulped. Apollo simply answered.

"I saw Cleo hunting in the woods until this newborn attacked her. He was about to cut off her head until my God scent was attracted to him and he started attacking me. Cleo and I worked together on trying to slay that vampire, until he bit me and injected me a venom that caused me turn into a Half Vampire." He sighed sadly. I could notice that was a fake sigh, but Athena and Ares didn't. "Cleo managed to take the newborn off the map and she brought me here. Thank Hera she saved my life." Apollo smiled at me. Damn Apollo, damn his eyes, damn his voice, damn his smile, damn his lips. DAMN, I'M SO MADLY IN LOVE WITH HIM NOW!

I could notice Apollo wink his right eye at me... holy crap, he can read my thoughts!

"You don't have to thank about it, Apollo. You're like a brother to me." Lie. He was something more to me. Ares cleared his throat.

"Um, Apollo, do you feel your throat burning?" He asked, worried. Apollo nodded as he rubbed his neck with his hands. He hissed in pain

"Newsflash, it's hunting time." I said smirking at him. He chuckled as he dashed from my room, now with vampire speed.

"Race ya!" He shouted. I followed him in my vampire speed, not noticing Athena and Ares bidding farewell at us.
