After Artemis passed out while her transformation from goddess to vampire had started, Apollo left her alone with Aphrodite as he and Hephaestus gone to warn all the Gods about the newborns' arrival. They had to do it fast because Hephaestus presenced that something was wrong with Veronica while Athena and Ares went to find her, Jason and Hitomi. A worried look spread through Apollo's face as he went outside the gates.

When Apollo and Hephaestus had finally arrived to the gates of Olympus, there was no sight of newborns or vampires. They only saw Athena and Ares stooding beside Jason, Hitomi and a tall woman with dark brown hair and a pale skin like Veronica's. She had deep, blood-red eyes and she was wearing a black and white pattern toga. From her appereance, Apollo could tell that she was a vampire.

"Who is she?" Hephaestus asked. Athena and Ares exchanged glances with Jason, Hitomi and the female and nodded.

"Apollo... Veronica's growth..." Athena trailed off, leaving a puzzled Apollo.

"It's me, dad." The woman said. Apollo wide eyed as he looked at her in surprise.

"Veronica?! What happen to you?!" He askef worried.

"I don't know," Veronica said worried. "I just gone to bed and had this weird dream about mom married with one of the Volturi and then I wake up like THIS! She sighed sadly. "This isn't normal in me, dad."

Apollo sighed. "Don't worry, sweetie, we'll get in charge of that later."

Suddenly, Veronica looked over her dad's shoulder a hodded vampire about to charge at him. She wide eyed.

"DAD, LOOK OUT!" She shouted and pushed her dad aside, only for the vampire charge at her instead. The hodded vampire holded Veronica with its two hands by her neck, while she did the same.

"HELP!" She choked. Jason wide eyed.

"LET HER GO!" He roared and morphed into his wolf form. He lunged at the hodded vampire and tackled him down, leaving Veronica free. Jason started to open his jaw pointing at the vampire's head, ready to take it from it. Until another white hodded vampire captured Jason by his throat. His left hand rapidly ran to Jason's wolfed neck as he struggled to let go off the vampire, but he was stronger than him. Ares noticed the vampire's hand ran to his son's neck and wide eyed.

"JASON!" He screamed, but it was too late; the vampire's hand made pressure in Jason's neck, causing him to pass out. The vampire dropped him to the ground as he helped up at the other hodded vampire to stand up. Hitomi growled angrily as her face redened in anger.

"You kill my brother, you kill me!" Hitomi snarled, before morphing into her wolf from. She tackled one vampire down while Athena tackled the other. Finally, Hitomi managed to rip off the vampire's head, but Athena had major problems. The vampire almost send her a kick to her jaw, but she fighted it back by punching it in its face, sending it to the ground. She kneeled down at him and she holded the vampire's wrist. Hitomi came to the vampire and rip off its head with only one neck-break.

"Heph, we'll need fire." Apollo said. Hephaestus nodded as he warped himself back to the forge to get the thing in question. Ares kneeled next to Jason, who was back at his human form. He'd checked his heartbeat, which went slow. He scowled angrily.

"Hitomi and Veronica," Ares said to the two persons in question. "Take Jason to his room. I want to be alone." He finished with a look of guilt in his face as he walked off. Athena noticed his look and reacted.

"Ares, stop!" She said following him. Apollo tried to stop her, but she didn't let him. "Don't.stop.me!" She sneered, before leaving. Apollo blinked in confusion. Then sighed as he and Hephaestus started to all over Olympus to track down and kill the newborns who were wandering there place.

Veronica's POV (Song Background: Howard Shore - The Kiss)

I groaned as Hitomi and I laid Jason's body into his bed. I know I have a half-vampire strenght like my uncle Hercules, but dang, that mut-cous was heavy! I sighed as I sat on a nearby chair.

"What's wrong with me?!" I asked as my new-female adult vampire voice tinged my throat. "First I get born as a vampire, my 9th birthday comes the past month, and now I'm adult?!"

Hitomi shrugged. "I'm not sure what all of this means, but the good news is that the Volturi doesn't have to kill you anymore."

"Hit, I know," I rolled my eyes. "But still, they forced mom to become one of them!" Tears felled through my pale, cold cheeks. "We can't have her back! I had a dream about it!"

Hitomi sighed sadly as she embraced me into a hug. "I know how you feel, Ver. Don't give up now, there's still a way we can have Auntie Cleo back."

I sniffed as I wiped off my tears. "How?"

Hitomi released me as her face looked thoughfull. "If we can fight the Volturi and make a wolf pack."

I wide eyed. The gods changed and a pack of wolfs, against the Volturi? Impossible. They're stronger than us! They could rip off my head any second. I shuddered at the thought.

"I'll think about it," I said. Suddenly, I heard uncle Ares and Aunt Athena arguing. But this time... it was different!

"Did you hear that?" Hitomi asked shocked. I nodded as she morphed into her wolf form and we started to run were my uncle and aunt were.

Minutes later, we arrived to the woods my family and I always hunt in. Hitomi and I hid behind a bush as we saw Ares and Athena.

"Ares, wait!" Athena pleaded, trying to stop Ares from going even more far away.

Ares turned back at her with a scowl. "I'm done, alright?! Go back!"

Athena growled. "No, I won't! Where the Hell are you going?!"

"Why you care?" Ares scoffed. "You'll be free from me! I'm going to get myself a kill!"

I could notice Hitomi wimper sadly. I wide eyed as I ran a hand at my cousin's wolfed-fur. Why Ares was going to kill himself? Why Athena did care about him?

Athena gasped and wide eyed. "DON'T! You can't die! Everybody in Olympus needs you! Sparta needs you, Dad needs you, Fear and Terror needs you, Hitomi and Jason needs you! Apollo needs you! Heph and Aphrodite needs you! Cleo (muttering), even though she isn't with us right now, (out-loud) needs you! Athens need you-"

Athena stopped for a moment when she realized what she said. Her pale, cold face is drained in tears as her red eyes were more bloodshut from crying. Me and Hitomi wide eyed. Ares raised his eyebrows confused.

"...I need you." Athena finally finishes.

I wide eyed more and quietly gasped.

Was Aunt Athena in love with Uncle Ares?

I could see Ares wide eye, surprised by Athena's statement.

"... Ever since the day you imprinted on me as we turned to vampires, I was impressed when you agreed on adopting Jason and Hitomi." Athena continued, tears kept falling from her cheeks. "You were a good dad for Jason and Hitomi; not like when you fight with Fear and Terror." She laughed a bit, before she kept talking. "But then they finally realized the cruel, dumbest kids were with you. That was the reason they go to the ProAc now, Ares; because they wanted to make you proud, like Jason and Hitomi. At first, I thought you were only mocking me by pretending to be a good father, but then... I realized you weren't."

I could sense Hitomi smile. I smiled back, proud that Athena doesn't hate Ares anymore. But... does she truly love him?

My questions were answered.

"The truth is..." Athena inhaled. "I love you..."
