"Fuck him," Clarissa says eating some of her pancakes making me laugh. Clarissa is my closest friend and my second cousin. We became really close after I moved to live with my dad freshman year of high school. "I'm serious Honesty he's cute, single and ready to get dirty do it." She says rolling her eyes at me.
"We just met." I laugh, my phone goes off and it's Oliver he sends me a picture of Liam laughing.
"Who's that?" Clarissa asks me I show her the picture.
"Oliver sent a picture of Liam since my sister wanted to take Liam to the zoo today." I show her the picture.
"My god baby." She sighs before looking at me sharply. "I don't trust Oliver."
"What are you talking about?" I ask putting my phone down and eating my French toast. Clarissa knows that Liam is Oliver's son. She said she wouldn't tell Harmoni, that I should do it. I mean it's not like she liked Harmoni either they've been fighting since 6th grade. In fact, them fighting affected my relationship with my sister, after I noticed the shit she was doing behind the scenes. Then moving to live with my dad after my parents divorced didn't help the fighting we were doing.
"I'm serious after you let him watch Liam once he texts you like your together all over again." She sucks her teeth, she was there with me when I found out about him and Harmoni.
"All he does is send my pictures of Liam and ask when he can see him again." I shrug as the waitress brings us more water.
"You should know by now he's a two-timing son of a bitch." She shakes her head, "Don't trust him Honesty."
"Alright. Now, what should I wear on my date with Clark?" I can't help but smile at the fact that I'm actually going on another date. I really thought I was done with dudes after Oliver.
We leave and head to my apartment to pick out some clothes. "This and this should do." She places a long-sleeved lace crop top with high waisted distressed jeans. "Now sit down so I can do your hair." She says pushing me in front of my vanity and slicks my hair back into a ponytail. I swear my cousin was born to do my hair.
"What time is it?" I look at my phone I have an hour until we are supposed to meet at the movies.
"Don't be nervous Honesty." Clarissa hugs me as she helps me finish my face. I get dressed and head out.
"I'll get Liam at 10." She says as I walk out the door.
"Thank you please just pick him up and leave." I plead hoping for the best.

"Its no problem I get him and come straight back here." She says I hug her before leaving, once I get in my car I text Clark and tell him I'm on my way. When I get to the movie theater I realize that he never texted me back.
"It's okay Honesty." I take a deep breath before my phone pings. He sent me a text saying he was running a little late so he wanted to eat first then go see the movie. I text him back okay as I go to get out my car. I make sure I look okay fixing the ponytail Clarissa put in my head before getting out and walking to the restaurant. Which was in the same plaza as the movie theater.
There is a 15-minute wait anyway so I give them my name and they hand me a buzzer for when they're ready for me. I go stand outside because it's too much going on inside and I need fresh air.
"You look amazing." I hear from behind me, I bite down on the inside of my cheek to keep from smiling so damn hard.
"You don't look so bad yourself." I let my grin take over my face. He has on jeans that fit right in the right places, a plain white shirt with a green bomber jacket.
"Why thank you." He smirks we talk for a little bit before going in to eat. The meal goes by faster than I would like, I don't know why but I love talking to this guy.
"Let me pay." He says pulling out his wallet after we finish eating.
"No, I can pay for myself." I go to take my debit card out.
"How about I pay for this one and you pay the next." He leans forward and grabs my hand.
"Okay." I laugh putting my debit card back in my wallet. We have a few minutes until the movie starts so we go and buy the tickets.
"Come on." He pulls me to towards the gaming area of the theater. "Let's play some games." He pulls out four dollars.
"No thank you I'm not trying to hurt your feelings." I laugh as he pulls me over to a shooting game after getting change.
"You get the right side I'll get the left." He says starting the game.
I last longer in the game of course, "Don't let that win go to your head. I let you win." He says making me laugh.
"Yeah okay." I roll my eyes as we go to see the movie. After he walks me to my car and I'm kinda sad to see the end of the date.
"So where are we going next?" He asks pulling me to him making me laugh.
"Next time we should definitely go to Dave and Buster's. See who's better at playing these games." I joke. He wants to kiss me I know this and I kinda want to kiss him back.
I angle my head up a little, I mean you only live once right? His lips find mine without hesitation. I wrap my arms around his neck and he up presses me against my car.
My phone starts to go off breaking the moment. He lets me go as I answer my sister's call. "What Harmoni?" I ask taking a deep breath.
"Tell you, stupid ass friend, she needs to watch her mouth!" She yells in the back I can hear Clarissa going off.
"Oh my god give her the phone." I sigh rubbing my forehead.
"Ole petty ass bitch!" Clarissa snaps taking the phone I can hear Liam laughing.
"Can you just take Liam home please?" I beg her she said it wouldn't be a problem to get Liam for me.
"That's what I was trying to do before that ole skank ass bitch" she's interrupted when I hear Oliver yell no. "I wish you would!" Clarissa yells before hanging up.
"I'm sorry." I rush to apologize, I gotta go to my sister's place now they are really close to fighting.
"It's fine. But is everything okay with you?" He asks me.
"It will be but I gotta go." I get in my car and am about to pull off when he taps on my window.
"Call me when you get home." He says I nod my head before peeling off. All I know is them, bitches, better be careful with my son.
