Chapter 2:
August's POV:
"If we push the product further
we can have control of the
whole city. What comes in and
what goes out. Who distributes
where and who they
distribute to." Omar says. "It's
a very logical idea." He adds.
"It's a great idea, O." I say.
"But what are the
consequences to this?" I add.
"Well, being that we only have
one competitor it's not gonna
be world war 3." He laughs.
"I need to know exactly what
I'm facing." I say.
"I crunched the numbers and
looked into it." He begins. "I
estimate, if we take this chance
we'll have 4 times the amount
of money we're making now. In
order to make that much we'll
have to take him out." He
adds.
"That's not an option." I say.
"Look, I know the situation but
you yourself said he wasn't the
best father." He says.
"It doesn't matter." I say. "I
can't risk breaking her heart
like that. There's no coming
back from that." I add.
"Just think about it." He says.
"It's already thought about." I
say. "It's not happening. She
wouldn't look at me the same.
She would loose all the love
and respect she ever had for
me." I add as my phone
vibrates.
"I'm just saying give it a
second thought. Rethink about
it." He says.
"I gotta go." I say standing up
and leaving the room.
I stand at the top of the club
and look for her on the dance
floor. I finally spot her and
Mexico dancing on each other.
I know I specifically told her
ass not to leave VIP. I take the
elevator down to the ground
floor and push my way through
the dance floor. When I make it
to where she's at, I grab her
arm and pull her through the
